The DRUDGE REPORT has learned from a top GOP operative that the Republican National Committee will provide state parties with a web video prior to release tomorrow afternoon that shows a white flag waving over images of Democrat leaders making anti-war remarks.
The ad is in response to the controversial comments Democratic Party Chairman Howard Dean and 2004 Democratic Presidential nominee John Kerry made earlier in the week.
A Democratic strategist who had the web ad described to her said, “This is way over the top but we have no one to blame but Dean, Kerry and others who continue to pander to the anti-war activists within our party.”
The web video advances the Republican contention that the Democrats only have a “retreat and defeat” message on the war in Iraq.
The video highlights the effect Democrats can have on the morale of U.S. soldiers.
One Republican strategist familiar with the ad said, “The Democrats, especially Howard Dean have a way of trying to turn the tables and say ‘that’s not what I meant’ – its just those ‘evil Republicans’ This video will make them crazy – it reinforces what they really believe with what they actually said – and that is devastating for the Democratic Party.”

The GOP will never run the ad on TV. The Dems can go on TV and call Bush every name in the book. But call the Dems the anti-American trash they are, and they will kick and scream about how low it is to question their patriotism. The GOP is dead unless they do attack the Dems where it hurts, their total lack of patriotism.

Kerry should NEVER have accused GI's in Iraq of "terrorizing children, since he himself is known for shooting a 16 yr old in the back while he was running away......and lets see....how many children were in the little sampan he caused his crew to kill?
I hope the Repubs have done this little production so it includes THAT background to his Iraq GI remarks.
I hope some Dems and some in the mainstream media get their panites in a bunch over this, and replay this to show how mean the Pubbies are. Remember the Willie Horton ad only had a small media buy, but the kvetching from the Dems put it on all the media.
Beautiful!! Looks like Michael Moore and MoveOn have finally put the noose around the necks of the DEMwit party and they're pulling them to the left so fast even Dingy Harry is turning blue. Pelosi is melting down along with Murfa, and Dean the Scream is screaming his "we can't win" prediction was taken out of context. Sure Howie, sure. Kerry's response to Rush and Mehlman I think was the clincher for this. Kerry will be beside himself.
