People who know the mother accused of burning her baby to death in a clothes dryer say she has a past that includes violence. But they also say she can turn it off like a switch. 18-year-old Lakeisha Adams was arrested by Bogalusa Police Tuesday after they discovered her 3-month-old son dead in her home. Adams reportedly confessed to putting the infant in the dryer and turning it on.
Friends and enemies say the accused child killer has two sides. Those who say they've known her for sometime says Lakeisha Adams is crazy. Zenadia Franklin says she once had to stab Adams to stop her from trying to kill her.
"They were looking at me like I was the bad guy. I was trying to tell them, Keisha is crazy."
Franklin in the girlfriend of the dead baby's father. Franklin says that she came forward because, inher words, the 3-month-old's death could have been prevented -- if authorities would have listened to her.

I can't even express how disgusted this makes me. How can one human being do this to another? And to her own child?

Friends and enemies say the accused child killer has two sides. Why refer to those who believe what she did was wrong as enemies?

Exactly. What does it have to do with being a friend or and enemy? I would sure hope that her "friends" would be just as upset about this as any enemy. A friend of mine was accused of child molestation and it never crossed my mind whether he was my friend but only whether he did it or not.

Zenadia Franklin says she once had to stab Adams to stop her from trying to kill her. Stabbing is usually a good deterrant to murder.
Just your nice, typical, Beaver Cleaver family. And all in Kathleen Blanco's back yard.

Oh, man, this story is fraught with "perplexities."
Franklin says that she came forward because, in her words, the 3-month-old's death could have been prevented -- if authorities would have listened to her. "I told them y'all need to watch Keisha, but they wouldn't listen..."
Blame the cops.
Franklin says even though she has had major problems with the accused child killer, she doesn't want to see her go to jail.
Say what!?!?!?

Short of having someone watch her 24/7, just what do people expect the *authorities* to do? It's just blame shifting. If they knew she was that nuts, why didn't they watch her? It's always someone else's problem/fault.
