I have between 25,000 and 30,000 lights (depends on how much I can get put up before christmas, last year I got to about 27,000). It cost me about an extra $100 it appears on the bill.
I replaced all my lights over the past 3 years with the lower-power versions, (went from .34 amps/100 lights to .2 amps/100 lights).
