Ann Coulter just finished her speech at UConn, and she was Great! Completely shutout Uconn's liberals.
The lefties showed up in significant numbers but the majority of the crowd was definitely for Ann. Of course the liberals went absolutely nuts during the speech but Ann Coulter just em down, every SINGLE time! And the majority of the conservatives would stand up and cheer everytime they started trying to act up.
At midpoint through her speech some liberals got a hold of the PA system and played a song through the speakers, I couldn't tell what it was. It effectively shut out Ann's speech. I figure some students must have had help from UConn faculty to oranize that. If anyone remembers, during this point the liberals started chanting "you suck", I was the guy in the front that stood up and yelled "No, You Suck!" and put and my arms out in the air and kept saying "what!". They stopped chanting and nobody said anything so i turned around and started clapping and then sat down.
After this charade, they finally got the music off the PA and Ann Coulter was just like "Allright, you want play games, lets see what you got?" and invited everyone up for questions.
Just about every liberal who went up got completely shut down by Ann Coulter. It was hilarious! Every liberal would stand in line all proud like they were gonna show Coulter, but after their question Coulter just shut em down with her answer they ended up walking back all shouting and swearing under their breath. Everytime they got shutout the crowd would started cheering for Ann Coulter's response. The liberals could never give up and keep shouting into the microphone so they would pull the mic out from them. They would always just sit their yelling and finally storming back all swearing and muttering under their breath. I was sitting right up by the line so it was amusing to see how frustrated they got.
A couple liberals in my section would get up screaming some nonsense, and i yelled out "Show some respect", twice they took a look at me and kept their mouth shut. But the third time a girl got up and yelled "$16,000 down the drain!!", so i turned around and was like "show some respect!", the girl looked at me like she was possessed by the devil, she kept screaming "Show some respect!! show some respect!! I'll show respect!! I'll show you" her friends had to grab and make her sit down, i was gonna say something else but i couldn't help laughing and just turn around. Pure example of a foaming-at-the-mouth liberal.
Since the speech was cut short and they went straight to the Q and A, Ann Coulter was only up for a little over an hour. Kind of dissapointing the liberals disrupted it but atleast Ann Coulter made each and everyone of them looking barking fools! Priceless.
I cannot BELIEVE that FR Rule #181 subsection c, paragraph 10 (aka "the Coulter, Malkin and Ingram Rule") was not followed until post #18!!!!

She is not responding to Colmes childish play acting. He keeps saying no liberal would ever shout down anybody they disagreed with, and she's just letting him make a total fool of himself by not even responding to such stupid statements. I agree she she could say a lot more if she wanted to, but there's no reason for her to dignify colmes idiotic drivel with a response. I loved it when colmes spewed out a long leftist rant and Ann just sat there and smiled. After about 20 seconds of deathly silence, she said, "Did you ask me a question?" Colmes just mumbled and went to commercial. It was LOL funny.

I was there as well. A lot yelling. I don't think most of them heared half of what she said.

The behavior of about 1/3 of the audience has me presently ashamed to tell anyone that my son attends a university that can produce so many narrow minded, shallow, arrogant, disrespectful and yes STUPID students. It was completely shameful and no Ann did not "shut them down" every time. She held her own, but they did effectively cut her speech short and sitting back in the crowd as I was, they made it nearly impossible to hear either the questions or her responses about half the time.
I'm proud of the way Ann handled herself, but this was an absolute disgrace.
It seemed to me that most of her speech was reallymeant push their buttons, which she did effectively. I just wished there was a little more substance between the button pushing.
If I may jump in... Ann appeared to be on answer delay.
I don't know if it was distance, like Iraq interviews,
or something else. Made the interview look herky jerky.
Those sound guys can deliberately delay the feed to her,
so that it interferes with the interview.
With this view of the world, you would have been nauseous to see how these little cretins at UConn behaved.
I am seriously ashamed that my son attends that university and my next son (now in highschool) certainly will not.
It won't be long now till liberals get violent.

Go ahead. Ask a college liberal if they believe that worldwide women's suffrage is a terrible tragedy and should be ended. Top it off by asking if the U.S. should lead the way and donate money to the cause.
Heh heh. Ok disclaimer, its the last week of school and im completely burned out with lack of sleep and finishing up last minute papers. I wrote my post stopping in at the library on the way back to my car. I was calling everyone up telling them how it went, and I can see now that i wrote up my post as if i was talking, instead of writing.
I didn't catch the hannity and colmes bit, but i guess she didn't do too well. Thats too bad. Because i thought her speech went extremely well!
I wish i can remember some of her better lines in more detail.
She started off with a bit about the 2006 elections and saying how democrats just won an important victory a few weeks ago. And stressing on what a victory it was for the democrats. So all the liberals broke out into applause and she waited for them to finish. I was sitting there kind of curious thinking what kind of victory they were talking about.
So then they stop and Ann Coulter basically states that the liberals got 2 democratic governors to replace 2 other democratic governors and the way things are going to them, thats a victory!, and the whole crowd broke out laughing and cheering.
