Ann Coulter just finished her speech at UConn, and she was Great! Completely shutout Uconn's liberals.
The lefties showed up in significant numbers but the majority of the crowd was definitely for Ann. Of course the liberals went absolutely nuts during the speech but Ann Coulter just em down, every SINGLE time! And the majority of the conservatives would stand up and cheer everytime they started trying to act up.
At midpoint through her speech some liberals got a hold of the PA system and played a song through the speakers, I couldn't tell what it was. It effectively shut out Ann's speech. I figure some students must have had help from UConn faculty to oranize that. If anyone remembers, during this point the liberals started chanting "you suck", I was the guy in the front that stood up and yelled "No, You Suck!" and put and my arms out in the air and kept saying "what!". They stopped chanting and nobody said anything so i turned around and started clapping and then sat down.
After this charade, they finally got the music off the PA and Ann Coulter was just like "Allright, you want play games, lets see what you got?" and invited everyone up for questions.
Just about every liberal who went up got completely shut down by Ann Coulter. It was hilarious! Every liberal would stand in line all proud like they were gonna show Coulter, but after their question Coulter just shut em down with her answer they ended up walking back all shouting and swearing under their breath. Everytime they got shutout the crowd would started cheering for Ann Coulter's response. The liberals could never give up and keep shouting into the microphone so they would pull the mic out from them. They would always just sit their yelling and finally storming back all swearing and muttering under their breath. I was sitting right up by the line so it was amusing to see how frustrated they got.
A couple liberals in my section would get up screaming some nonsense, and i yelled out "Show some respect", twice they took a look at me and kept their mouth shut. But the third time a girl got up and yelled "$16,000 down the drain!!", so i turned around and was like "show some respect!", the girl looked at me like she was possessed by the devil, she kept screaming "Show some respect!! show some respect!! I'll show respect!! I'll show you" her friends had to grab and make her sit down, i was gonna say something else but i couldn't help laughing and just turn around. Pure example of a foaming-at-the-mouth liberal.
Since the speech was cut short and they went straight to the Q and A, Ann Coulter was only up for a little over an hour. Kind of dissapointing the liberals disrupted it but atleast Ann Coulter made each and everyone of them looking barking fools! Priceless.
Why do liberals always scream ??
Do they think we are deaf and can't hear them?
Or do they just like acting like 5 yr olds in a store when then don't get what they want
I'm voting with the latter. They have to get the last word in. And when you go to a speech, your not supposed to get any word in, you listen to what an esteemed author has to say. Cindy Sheehan came to campus so if you disagree you can listen to her. If you have to always have the last word, become a bestselling author and you can have it every time. They thought this was supposed to be a debate, Ann Coulter vs. College liberals. Luckily Coulter made fools out of them.

Every time Ann goes into the lion's den at various colleges, she opens up some young minds full of mush -- as Rush would put it.
When "liberals" get into power, they shut down free speech for anyone who doesn't mouth liberal-leftist dogma.
Warning to anyone who is thinking of voting for a liberal.
Ann Coulter made each and everyone of them looking barking fools! Priceless.
She needs to demand that at each College Speach she gives they provide extra security and controll of the crowd. and have huge Men there to toss out these infantile retards.
How typical of Colleges in America..filled with Stupid children..who just Parrot the Democrat hate line verbatum!!!
The reason the liberals hate her so Much is because She verbaly "Guts" them and They are made to look like the fools they are. and when you expose an arrogant Liberal
the Satanic Demon inside cannot conceal itself, and It comes out.
I was at her talk last night also with a friend. I was surprised at how many Coulter supporters there seemed to be in the audience. I had expected that, since so much of the audience appeared to be students, most of them would be anti's.
I thought her best line of the night came when someone during Q&A asked her what she thought of Hillary's chances for the 2008 election. She said she wasn't sure how well she'd do but allowed as how, already, Hillary was conducting strategy sessions with political aides for '08. She said she understood that one of Hillary's highest priorities would be how to make Howard Dean's death look like an accident. LOL!
She spent the better part of her talk challenging the mindset she knew she faced with a segment of the audience. Remember, this whole appearance had a lot of publicity beforehand and the left had already decided they were going to protest and disrupt it if possible.
As I was walking through the Student Union just prior to the event I saw a number of posters on bulletin boards decrying the fact that Ann would even be speaking at Uconn. Included was one poster with a picture of Ann with a Hitler mustache and a swastika. My friend tore it down and took it with him. He wrote a letter to the Hartford Courant about the poster and her lousy reception by some but I doubt the Courant will publish it.
You have it exactly right.
Do you have problems with the word "I"?
Please capitalize in future.
Thanks.
most of the Q&A was insults directed at Ann...typical liberal tripe that does nothing but show the rest of America what the libs are about...
Exactly, the school or the college democrats should be forced to pay for her to give another speech.
How about the one where the guy asked her what her opinion was of premarital sex? Her response, for those who weren't there, was "That is, quite possibly, the worst pickup line I've ever heard..."
Priceless!!!
Actually i do. I believe that the grammatical rule came forth back when writing was mostly done through handwriting. I have a theory that slowly typography will evolve to change the capatalization rule of the word "i" as it involves an unnecessary burden on the shift key.
Hey, you asked.
