I agree that Schizophrenia has chronic and acute phases. The thing I'm disagreeing about is that bipolar disorders never display hallucinations, delusions or unreasonable and agressive combativeness. Only emotional highs and lows. The highs are euphoric and the lows are paralyzing. I sure would like to see a bonafide psychiatrist agree with the wife's statements. :)

That's what I thought you meant, actually. I'm not sure why the need for all the additional procedures, either. I mean, once the guy was shot, and the bag was sniffed, and the wife was interviewed, etc. etc. I figure it could be wrapped up all tidy.

This is a remarkable story. Personally, I'm pleased that when there was a threatening person, there were Air Marshalls ready to act. That's what the terrorists need to know.

No, frankly it doesn't. This week I nearly had to evacuate from a raging grass fire and appreciated each and every fire unit that showed up and battled and diverted the flames. Were there more than necessary? Maybe, but why take chances?
