I just checked their website, and it lists the authorized weapons and ammunition. It doesn't list the brand, but shows the .357 sig with 125 gr jacketed hollowpoints. The point that I was making is that, contrary to popular myth, they are not using pre-fragmented rounds. I haven't read the whole thread yet but, if I'm to board a plane, or are already on the plane and someone says he has a bomb... I want the marshalls to shoot first and ask later! The hell with the SOB/asshole's life and rights!

How 'bout if he said to his traveling companion, "I got a really good bon-bon in the airport," and the government employee thought he said, "I got a really big bomb through the airport"? I'm quite ready to deny rights to Muslims but not just as ready to grant extraordinary powers to government workers.
