I've heard this statistic trumpeted by several Dem Talking Heads and each time they were asked to cite the source they mentioned Murtha's statements on the number as their source. Talk about circular disinformation - Murtha the moonbat mentions something and then becomes the 'Authoritative Source' for the propaganda. Goebbels would be proud.

Of the Democrats in Congress, 79.3% of them think that Murtha is an idiot. A useful idiot, so they won't say this publicly (they know they could lose their jobs). But I've spoken with them and 79.3% of them think that Murtha is an idiot.

I know we're not supposed to question polls done by professional pollsters here, but I question whether this "Iraqi university research team" has mastered sampling and using unslanted questioning.

This statistic is being used REPEATEDLY by the media and the dems. I found it quoted in the Washington Post. I think that is the 'source' they quote without checking into it further.

I would venture that 95 percent of Americans want our forces out of harm's way in Iraq. And a strong majority of Iraqis want American troops to leave as well.

The point is, how is that to be done? In a cut-and-run manner? Or when the job is done? More and more, it seems that the only victory the Dems care about is winning in the 2006 and 2008 elections, national security and the Iraqi people be damned.
