WASHINGTON -- The federal government received failing and mediocre grades Monday from the former Sept. 11 commission, whose members said in a final report that the government has balked at enacting numerous reforms that could prevent another terrorist attack on U.S. soil.

Yes. You can't prevent an attack an America. You can only do the best you can on protecting and securing the people and the areas that take the threat serious.

Not sure I can argue with them. Borders are wide open and that have caught some al-qaeda synpathisers along the borders in recent weeks. The FBI seems more interested in not offending CAIR than in capturing Muslim extremists. The liberals and ACLU are trying to free those imprisoned. And the TSA is now allowing sharp objects aboard airliners again.

Sour grapes whining from a bunch of idiots. These imbeciles think that their opinion is all that matters, yet they faily to recognize that they themselves are a clear and present (Able) danger.

The committee wants money for 'first responders' and doesn't want to see Able Danger utilized to track down and incarcerate those who would kill us.
Ben Veniste specifically said he wants an investigation into the use of data mining because it's intrusive and violative of our laws.
These people are a danger to our national security.

how come able danger isnt thrown back them every time they mention stupid things like an F report card?
To: jd777
I give the Sept. 11 commission a BIG FAT *F* for sweeping Able Danger under the rug and having Gorelick as a member.
So it doesn't matter what those clowns latest political "grade" attack is.

According to Congressman Weldon (yesterday) Kean is WRONG on his characterization of the Able Danger information.
The commission seems determined to hide the truth to protect the klinton administration.

Any comments? The Gorelick Commission is beneath contempt. I decline to read an article about it.

Well, then. I guess the answer, according to these traitorous morons, is to build a huge wall all the way from one end of the justice system to the other - so those evil people in the national intelligence system never have a clue about the next attack.
After all, Gorelick has her priorities straight - the safety and security of the American people is of no concern whatsoever, when it comes to maintaining the pristine purity of a hopelessly f'ed up "justice" system.

If they know so much perhaps we should just go ahead and put Jamie Gorelick in charge huh"
As long as we have criminals such as Jamie Gorelick in charge of anything or on any commission......America will not be safe.

Although Kean made some comments, all the newspaper articles I read were focused on Gorelick and other democrats. Seeing Gorelick's happy face pictured in every story makes me so angry, that no one confronts her and demands she answer for the intelligence wall she created that led to 9/11.
Instead, USA Today featured Dick Cheney on its front page as the big bogeyman in American politics. Do you see how stupid the republican are, they allow a tough patriot like Cheney to be demonized while a liberal F up like Gorelick runs around like queen of the prom.
Democrats have killed so many good people and they could care less. They sleep like babies because they are babies.

Rep. Curt Weldon was on Michael Savage's radio program last evening.
Weldon didn't have much good to say about either Kean or Hammilton, called them both liars and deceivers. Weldon is still criticizing them for not taking the Able Danger reports seriously.
Hammilton and Kean both implied on Meet The Press this past Sunday that they didn't consider Able Danger worthy of their further investigation.
[Funny, considering that when the A D controversy first broke, both H and K implied that they were unaware of A D and had received no info about it. At that time, Gorelick was pegged as the filter between staff and committee; she was the one who kept A D info from the rest of the committee.]
So, did K and H see the info and consider it not worth further investigation or did Gorelick keep the info from them? If the former, K and H lied when they first said they had no knowledge of A D. If the latter, then Gorelick should be investigated for impeding the committee investigation.
