Is a Bush endorsement of McCain enough to sway your opinion?

Posted on 12/04/2005 9:19:56 AM PST by cubram

Some on the morning talk shows suggested that McCain is the natural successor to Bush for his committment to the war, and that Bush will "pass the baton" to him.

My question is: if Bush endorses McCain will you think aboout voting for him? Personally I don't care for McCain for a number of reasons, but if I think he will continue W's legacy, I might reconsider.

What do you think?

Yeah, against him, even further.

Schwarzenegger is all we need for a reminder of what RINOs will do.

McCain Feingold is an unforgiveable infringement on our political process.

Knowing what would happen later, I wouldn't forgive Stalin before he killed anybody.

Knowing what is in store for our republic if democracy is damaged, I wouldn't forgive the architects of the damage (for one, McCain).

Some on the morning talk shows suggested that McCain is the natural successor to Bush for his committment to the war, and that Bush will "pass the baton" to him.

And so it begins...

I have been wondering how the Bush/Klinton cabal might handle this election. Now we see the beginnings of the game.

Bush knows that he has squandered his base support (outside the "Cult of Bush" types)...so he endorses a candidate the base would either stay home over, or vote 3rd party instead of! (Can anyone say "Bob Dole"? Now THERE was a candidate to energize the base!)

Thus ensuring a smooth hand-off to Hillary...right on schedule.

And should the (R) candidate somehow begin to overtake Hillary...some scandal/info detrimental to said candidate will suddenly pop up.

No thanks. I see where this is going.

Holding my nose is so passe' anyway!

McCain is nothing like Bush and if Bush were to support him that would not sway my opinion.

McCain does not believe in across the board tax cuts, IMHO the most important issue that makes one a Republican.

McCain has undermined Bush with his torture legislation, CFR, the Gang of 14, his trip to Alaska with Hillary to show "global warming," his criticisms of the handling of the war, his trashing of the brave Swift Boat Vets, etc.

Additionally, he has mostly remained silent while the Rat party calls our great POTUS a liar and a criminal and calls for his impeachment. His main concern is the opinion of the MSM. He has no loyalty to our party. I will never vote for him.

He is the only person with an R next to their name I will never vote for under any circumstances. The irony is that I am pretty moderate compared to most here. I just loathe this man intensely.
