LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton accused President Bush of mismanaging the Iraq war and claimed his domestic agenda has taken the country off course in a speech Friday night to Democrats in a state that solidly backed the Republican president last year.
About 2,000 people cheered the New York senator as she accused Bush of ignoring an ailing health care system and rewarding tax cuts to the wealthy while piling up deficits.
Clinton headlined a party fundraiser that brought in $600,000 for Kentucky candidates as Democrats try to reverse gains by Republicans, who hold the governor's mansion and all but one of the state's congressional seats.
Clinton, who is running for re-election next year and is considered a possible presidential candidate in 2008, targeted the president's handling of the war for some of her sharpest criticism.
"The time has come for the administration to stop serving up platitudes and present a plan for finishing this war with success and honor," she said. "I reject a rigid timetable that the terrorists can exploit, and I reject an open timetable that has no ending attached to it.

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton accused President Bush of mismanaging the Iraq war ......................
I agree 100%. I am sure I disagree with Mrs. Scumbag on the right way, but she is 100% correct that it is being mismanaged.
accused Bush of ignoring an ailing health care system ....................
Mrs. Scumbag is a Marxist who would destroy our health care system. Sh tried it once, and she will succeed her second time when she is elected president in 08.
and rewarding tax cuts to the wealthy ...................... that is factually a lie since the wealthy are paying an even greater share of the tax burden.
You know things are bad in GOP land when you have to agree with a Maxist liar, a scummy opportunist who happens to be right about Bush's war tactics.

Are you kidding, we are going to be too busy getting rid of the rat's bodies on Monday when they realize that Bush's approval rating is up, the economy is is up, the Dow is going to hit $11k next week, and unemployment is lower than it has been in 30 years. They are all going to be slitting their wrist.

Well...what other choice is there, but suicide? If the dems put her up in '08, who will the pubbies counter with?
Do you see anyone in the current GOP field who can win against the perception machine that is the MSM. They and Hollywood and the dems are street fighters. The pubs are still using gloves.

This just shows how far behind the curve the Dems are. The Iraq war has been over since they caught Saddam. What is going on now is the War on Terror. They don't have a clue.

She would probably say the same meanlingless babble. She has no core and only follows the political wind, like BJ. She is dangerous.

I don't think she will be the Democratic nominee, I suspect it will be a Mark Warner type. The Bag has too much baggage.

I think Hillary has made a calculation that Bush's strategy is going to have a victory (in Iraq not WOT) and this will occur well before the 2008 election cycle. Iraq will no longer be an issue with the left and she can claim she was right, (although she will claom she would have managed the war better and it could have brought troops home sooner.)

Hey Hillary, if you're keeping score:
2,000 Americans have died to give Iraqis freedom. They were heroes and their legacy will be one of victory.
3,000 Americans died on 9/11 because Bill Clinton was too weak to stop Bin Laden when he had the chance.

Wait, he did have a strategy for dealing with terrorists.
(1) Launch a $2 million cruise missile into a hundred dollar tent and hit a camel in the butt.
(2) Sometimes he would shoot cruise missiles into pharmaceutical plants in the middle of the night and kill the all night janitors.
Other than that I agree with you. He did nothing but entertain fat White House aids.

"I'm not asking even for the specific timetable of withdrawal. I'm asking for a specific timetable of transfer of authority, of transfer of responsibility, of the shift and the setting of the benchmarks specifically that allow us to bring our troops home." Please tell me that is not a real quote....Did Kerry really say something that stupid ( not that he hasn't before).
To: Irish Eyes
Yes he did. And Brit Hume said "If anybody knows what Senator Kerry meant by that please write me at special@foxnews.com"
