A rape suspect is in critical condition after being fended off by his intended victim.
Police Special Victims Unit Captain John Darby says when the 30-year old woman said no thanks, the man forced his way into her West Haines Street home and started to rape her in front of her two year old child.
"At some point she was able to talk the male into interrupting the attack so that she could place the child upstairs in the bedroom in safety."
That was the moment she needed. She went away with the child and came back with a knife which she plunged into the man's chest.
Police say ran off and collapsed on the street where police escorted him to Einstein hospital. He's expected to live to face charges.
No way in hell. No jury on the face of this planet would do that.
LMAO! Too funny!
Happy Endings?
Not a chance. She should have stabbed him three or four times.
If only her name was Lorena!
In 1976, my wife's 21 year old cousin (4'11" and 100 lbs) did, in fact, use a .45 M-1911 to shoot and kill a would-be rapist who had broken into her apartment. The man, later identified as the perp in 7 previous rapes, knocked the door down, confronted her in the bedroom and announced his intentions. She pointed the big pistol at him. He laughed and said, "You wouldn't shoot me, you little ****."
They were his last words, the first shot him in the throat, the second in the forehead. Either would have been fatal, the second instantly so. Under Texas law, she was required to appear before the grand jury. A local attorney represented her pro bono and it was an open and shut no bill. She says she has only one regret, that he didn't select her as his first victim rather his eighth.
What do you think that the police may charge her for an illegal weapon?
Ahh, no were not
I like bedtime stories with a happy ending. Good thinking on her part. Of course, his living through this is no picnic for him; must've felt pretty good. It'll give him something to think about for a while lying ther in a hospital bed. I guess I'm not too disappointed that he didn't buy it yet.
If she uses it to kill a rapist who has invaded her home? They'll probably cut her a deal along the following lines: get that thing registered within one year, or get rid of it, and we drop the charges.
Too bad there won't be a follow-up on the story .....
Strange that a rapist would care if a baby present and wait patiently for her to return. I wonder if they knew each other?
I think there's more here than meets the Private eye.
Something about this story doesn't sound right to me. I hope it does turn out to be true tho.
Obligatory "God Bless Texas"
:-D
That story, like the one posted, is amazing! Women instictively know to defend themselves with violence, but like men, they can have that instict "educated" out of them.
LOL
AWESOME.
She should have castrated him while she had the chance. a knife is good but a gun would have been better.
