My mother died today(vanity)

At approximately 0757 EST My mother, a dear, sweet woman good christian and avowed patriot, Left this realm to be with the Lord. Some of you may know me as an intermittent poster/lurker here. You are in some ways My closest and dearest buddies both on the web and elsewhere. She leaves behind 3 daughters, a son ,7 grandchildren and far too many friends to count. She was a leader in her church, a dedicated conservative and one woman dynamo. I will just remember my dear sweet mother and know that as long as God sends women such as these, the republic will continue and thrive. "no tears please, for all My life I've been working to go to heaven. It's where I want to be". That was her words to us before she lost her struggle with cancer. No tears, smiles and unending prayers of gratitude for the blessing of her life.

I'm sorry for your loss. It doesn't matter how old you are, it feels like being orphaned to lose your mom or dad. I've lost both, Dad 18 years ago, and Mom 4 1/2 years ago. Sometimes I feel so lost I can't stand it, even knowing God is there. I just want my Mommy and my Daddy. So hang in there. You are not alone.

I know what you mean..... but allow tears. They are the cost of love. Augustine didn't cry at his mothers passing, he thought it wasn't a Christian response to someone promoted to glory. But he later regretted it. You will meet again. Until then the Lord understands.
