The guy is really full of himself, isn't he.
His wife wasn't outed for anything, except being married to an delusional @sshole.

He also had harsh words for Novak, calling him an "asshole" and a "jerk."What a class act Joe Wilson is... and this clown was an ambassador?

"To me, it looked like regime change for the sake of regime change. It was a much harder road than [the Bush administration] thought it would be," he said. "Was there anyone who knew better than me? Probably not."
He referred to the Iraqis as "assholes," and Saddam Hussein as a "madman." </i>
If he added that Joe Wilson was a pompous, over-dramatic, attention-seeking press whore with a Hollywood complex and that his wife was a desk jockey who was more at risk of stabbing herself in the eye with her mascara than anything else, I'd say it was a fair asessment.

"Unfortunately, most people want to know what it's like to be Valerie Plame's husband - which I'm also happy to talk about. By the way, did I ever tell you she lets my play with her gun.. it's much bigger than mine. Oh, and did I mention she's a spy and works for the CIA?"

"He said his experience meeting with Saddam Hussein just before the United Nations attacked Iraqi forces invading Kuwait in 1991 and helping spur democracy in Niger helped him come to the conclusion democracy was too difficult a road to pursue in Iraq." Gee, I thought it was USA forces that attacked Saddam and tossed him out of Kuwait,If I recall the UN turned tail and ran when Saddam was crossing the border. Democracy in the M.E. wasn't the agenda at the time. Joe Wilson brought democracy to Niger? Sure he did. Are you skipping your meds Joe? Don't listen to those voices Joe!

You know a guy is in trouble when a real story about him appears to be a parody at first but isn't.

And that relatively anonymous state department official's only claim to fame is what? Oh yeah, being Valerie Plame's husband, which he created himself. What a sad little man.

As much as I detest Joe Wilson, he does have a point. Novak is a jerk.
But Wilson is just throwing up smoke to deflect scrutiny away from himself. Wilson and Plame both need to be indicted.
To: rs79bm
"how he had gone from being a relatively anonymous state department official to "Valerie Plame's husband," sparing few from potent verbal attacks along the way."
If Valerie Plame wasn't outed, he would still be a relatively anonymous RETIRED department official. So it seems to me that her outing was certainly beneficial to Joe Plame.

Joe Wilsons "proof" is that he drank tea with some Niger officials for a few days and came back saying that "it probably didn't happen".
The officials probably told ole Joe that any sale of yellowcake to Iraq would violate UN sanctions.
That was good enough for ole Joe.
Could he have talked to the French, the French mining companies or anyone else involved in the actual production of yellowcake?
Our "allies", the French, are the only ones who know whether Saddam tried to acquire yellowcake from Niger.
And who said it was Niger?
The Brits said "Africa".

I cannot figure out why I even read stories about this a**hat Joe Wilson. Every time I do I feel the need to take a shower, gargle, and puke at the same time. That he was ever an ambassador is amazing to me, and that he continues to spew forth his bile and his lies, makes me angry. He is the worst this country has to offer the world, and he continues to bring shame on all of us. I want to tell him to STFU, and to go back to the rathole he came from.

Who is Joe Wilson's principal?
The 16 words seem to be "code" for British intel, and why would Joe Wilson care what British intel demonstrates?
Wilson went as a "free lance" intel hunter to Niger, wonder why?
To: rs79bm
Former ambassador to Iraq?? That was a one day stint and he was the "acting" ambassador. The real ambassador was out of town.
