War, lies and media on the left
Washington Times ^ | Nov. 30, 2005 | Douglas MacKinnon

Politics is politics and ratings are ratings. But at what point does the non-stop antiwar Iraq rhetoric by many Democrats and many in the media cross the line and morph into outright falsehoods, personal vendettas against the president, and become utterly demoralizing to our troops on the ground in Iraq? I would submit that that line was deliberately and gleefully crossed quite a while ago.

Why? If you are a liberal in the Democratic Party or in the media, there are several reasons why you would twist the facts, try to rewrite history and privately state that "the end justifies the means." First, and maybe still most importantly, for many on the left, they have never considered George W. Bush a legitimate president. They have an irrational hatred for him and wrongfully feel, in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary, that Mr. Bush somehow stole the 2000 election.

LOL, is the President saying 'yes, no, or maybe'? Your New York Times one is always good!

The problem is the Democrat party is treating Iraq and the WOT as if it were just one more political disput. They treat Iraq as if it were no different than a highway bill.

Mark Levin put it well tonight on his show: Media Cover-Up. With all of the imbeds and coverage, where is the complete story. The multiple facets of a story that should be told, are not being told. The facts of progress and human triumph are there. To miss them is deliberate and harmful to our troops. Shame on the MSM.

"They treat Iraq as if it were no different than a highway bill."

It's life-and-death, and MSM refuses to do its job by reporting the complete story of Iraq.

They may push me (and a few others) too far.

Love the Wizard of Oz pic! hahaha! Many character lessons are inherent in that film. For instance..the lion kept pulling his own tail and scaring himself. He then would cry and wipe his tears dry with the same tail. The Wizard: "Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain."
