The writer forgets to include in his second sentance that Democrats are both traitors and guilty of treason. Plus they are actively aiding and abetting the enemy, and are causing many unecessary military and civilian deaths.

This is a wonderful piece that needs more exposure.

A complete text of President Bush's address today can be found
here if someone wants to post it.

How true your post is. Exactly how I feel.
I might include those Republican Senators and Reps that remain silent while the Dims trash our President.
Just got through sending an email to my Republican Senator Lugar asking why he remained silent about the lies by the Dims on a daily basis. Reminded him that his continued silence and lack of support for President Bush would be remembered next year when he will be up for reelection. He best become vocal now or expect not to be listened to during the election. This may get me into a lot of trouble with the county party, as I am precinct committeeman up for reelection myself next year but I really don't care.

Left wing liberals are unhappy people, and what is truly perverse to the rest of us is that is the way they want to live their lives. I grew up near Boston, and I can tell you that happiness to these moonbats is suspect. They complain about everything, and offer no solutions to anything. If you appear outwardly happy, they likely will castigate you for it. Many can't even enjoy a Red Sox game.

Leaving the words of Mr. Clinton aside, many in the media seem to have completely or deliberately forgotten about U.N. Resolution 1441 -- a resolution that was unanimously passed by the Security Council and ordered Saddam Hussein to make a "full accounting of his WMD program and to cooperate with inspectors." Further, the resolution warned that there would be no more tolerance for concealment or obstruction -- something David Kay, head of the Iraq Survey Group, found Saddam was doing on a regular basis. OK, if some in the media will turn their backs on this verifiable history, then I have no doubt that they will also seek to squash or ignore the testimony of those who would remind the American people of the valid reasons for going to war in Iraq -- even testimony by Democrats.
How many in the media who oppose this war will report the words of Sen. Joseph Lieberman, Connecticut Democrat, when, in speaking recently in opposition to a date certain for withdrawal, said: "It is no surprise to my colleagues that I strongly supported the war in Iraq... we had in our national interest to remove Saddam Hussein from power... He was a ticking time bomb that if we did not remove him, I am convinced would have blown up, metaphorically speaking, in America's face... The international intelligence community believed Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction."
Politics is politics, ratings are ratings, but lies are lies. While some Democrats may twist the truth to win the upcoming elections, the media has a solemn obligation to report the facts. And it is on that score that some have failed themselves, our nation, our troops, and the people of Iraq.
So true worth repeating.
Thanks for the ping, KP.
