FAIRFAX, Va. (AP) -- Former national security adviser Sandy Berger pleaded guilty Tuesday to reckless driving after an officer clocked him at 88 mph in a 55-mph zone. A judge fined him $250.

Berger did not speak during his brief appearance before Judge Richard Horan in Fairfax County General District Court. His lawyer entered the guilty plea on his behalf.

So now he's gonna run a driver safety class for CIA operatives at Langley, right?

Didnt Al Gore get pulled over about a year ago for doing 20 or 30 mph over the speed limit??

Yes, and to his credit he was polite with the officer, admitted the "crime," and paid the fine.

Um, you seem to be confusing Dick Morris (not under discussion in this thread) with Sandy Berger (topic of this thread).

Didn't he tell the officer who he was?

"Speeding wastes Gasoline"

Yeah, but he was in his 1984 Dodge Omni so he wasn't worried.

$250 seems a little light for 33 mph over the limit.

Woulda cost you at least $1000, and maybe a suspension for 30 days, depending upon your record.

o notice:
The documents he took contained information on terror threats in the United States during the 2000 millennium celebration

A little Clinton Legacy Protection Racket going on in the MSM. More than likely contained Sudanese Government docs offering to turn ObL over to Billy and Janet.

I noticed that too.

I don't recall it ever being made public what was contained in the documents. After all, weren't they supposed to be Classified? The AP is spinning.

In addition to probation in that case, Magistrate Judge Deborah A. Robinson fined Berger $50,000 and sentenced him to 100 hours of community service. She later admonished Berger for violating probation by getting ticketed for reckless driving, but did not punish him further.

Talk is cheap

Why isn't this SOB in jail?

Because he's a RAT, silly. More importantly, he's a K-Toon RAT.

"Dick has learned how to suck his own toes. Sometimes its hard to resist the urge while driving."

I believe you may have the wrong criminal/critter. It was Dick Morris who was the toe sucker. Sandy Berger warms his toes with purloined papers.

You are absolutely right. There are simply too many pundits, political idiots, and true heroes to keep track of anymore.

I hate to say it but Dick is probably more of a patriot than Sandy!
