Free Sirhan Sirhan.
He only killed Bobby Kennedy, it's been long enough. Let him go now.

Hey Libs, why are you crying about Tookie? Your favorite arm of Government, the Judicial System, made a judgement. They decided to give him the death penalty. Are you supposed to question their Supreme Authority?

We have all seen pictures of the kindly looking, professorial old Tookie Williams, but how manu of us have seen what he looked like back then?
Last night on H&C they flashed the picture below of this thug.

Los Angeles' top law enforcement officers today urged Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger to have no mercy for Stanley Tookie Williams, the gang co-founder convicted of four murders who is to be executed Dec. 13. Burn baby, burn. Oh, that's right, they don't fry 'em any more in Kalifornicate.
Well, Tookie, when you're lying on that gurney with the needle in your artery, reflect on where you're headed next. And come to think of it, my original comment therefore still applies.
Burn, Tookie, burn.

"Stanley Williams steadfastly refused to take any responsibility for the brutal, destructive and murderous acts he committed," according to the statement. "Without such responsibility, there can be no redemption, there can be no atonement, and there should be no mercy." In addition, Cooley sent a letter saying that since Williams founded the Crips, the gang "has been responsible for literally thousands of murders in Los Angeles County alone."
Well said. And to think this guy is a liberal hero and nominee of the Nobel "Yasser Arafat" Peace Prize.

Given all that he's done to try to stop violence since, and how much more he could do were he allowed to live, I'd say give him some leniency. However, how can you give leniency to someone who hasn't even owned up to what he's done?

"Redemption" is a joke. This piece of garbage is still denying he killed those people. No doubt. I would argue that his victims actually number in the thousands, not just the 4 he was convicted of murdering. Hard to have a soft spot for a monster like 'tookie'.

That is one perspective, and allot of people see it that way. My persective is different; The death penalty sentence is not to be carried out depending on the convicts attitude and actions. The death penalty is not about rehabilitation. My stance is that if he regrets the killings or denies them, does charity work or promises to kill again ... does not matter, he has to pay the price for the murders. If he swore to kill again if freed, would that make a difference to people that want to see clemency for him? I am sure it would. Some people believe that a convicts attitude AFTER the conviction is a factor, and I can see that point, I just disagree with it.
