No wonder Christmas sales are down.

Interesting, but I bet there's a real backlash coming. I refuse to buy any Christmas presents in stores that do not celebrate Christmas, I refuse to buy a "holiday" tree. They want to sell holiday trees, let them sell them on Holiday and see just who buys them.

We should make sure that these people never get into power again.

We had become fraidy-cats, enfeebled, because 50 years of liberalism had made us no longer believe in ourselves, who we were and what we stood for.

I believe that every time Ann Coulter is not a "fraidy-cat" in her battle against cultural revisionists many people with room-temperature IQ's label her as "extreme".

Yes, sometimes even here people become "too fine to get out in the streets, too gentlemanly to call things the way they" are.

In keeping with the rules:

Thanksgiving will be next. Then, Independence Day. Then what? Mother's Day? Father's Day? Of course, Labor Day will remain.

Last year I had a thought about making some of those vehicle magnets (Like the Support Our Troops ribbons) that say Merry Christmas on them. I went into Kmart this weekend and found somebody had already used my idea. I found a nice one with the three wisemen on it that says, "Jesus is the Reason for the Season." I expect I'll encounter a little road rage from the DemocRATS for having it on my car but they will have to deal with it.

My Jewish brother in law said that his grandfather introduced colored, printed, Christmas wrapping paper into this country in the 1920's. Obviously, the holiday wasn't offensive to him! ;o)

Just a thought....

I too was bothered by the sudden appearance of all the "holiday" hoopla and the disappearance of "Christmas" anything in all the ads on TV. Then it occurred to me how bothered I had been last year, and every Christmas for a lot of years, by the fact that Christmas had all but been taken over by commercialism. In a way I'm relieved by the giving of Christmas back to those of us who choose to celebrate it for what our faith tells us it is, the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

My mom always told me God moves in mysterious ways. Looks like she was right again!

Merry Christmas, fellow Christians! Happy holidays to everyone else!

Don't forget that those of us with telephone answering machines can express ourselves with them too. A message of Merry Christmas as a greeting always cheers the heart.

I still say Merry Christmas, and can't wait for the day some SOB complains to me about it, I will launch on their ass.

Many of my friends are Jewish, and I've never heard a word about it from any of them.

Besides the danger to our national security that leftists represent, I think this kind of thing enrages me as much as anything.

I never buy a Christmas Card that does not say Christmas. I do not buy holiday trees or holiday presents.

Why, do you suppose, the words "foreign or domestic" are included in oaths of office as part of the commitment to "support and defend the Constitution of the United States from all enemies"? Has anyone ever fulfilled that commitment? Does any elected or appointed public servant ever seriously defend our Constitution from its domestic enemies?

Anyway, by the time 2005 had arrived, most American people no longer had the conviction and mettle of the people who founded this nation in the 18th century.” “Why not, Grandpa?” “Well, believe it or not, they simply were worn down by constantly being called names like anti-Semite, Islamophobe, racist, or homophobe.” “You mean, people 50 years ago were so scared that they’d allow their country to be taken from them rather than be called a name?

This Rabbi gets it.
