Any psuedo "sport-hunting", posing poser, tree-standing, duckblinding, inadequate, floundering, hunterering bozo who wants to kill any defenseless beautiful animal like any one of these needs to check and re-check their thinking. God is watching.
--Yes, I did not want to disrupt your thread, so I took your advice to start my own. It was good to see those who agree with me on "trophy hunting" and how cruel and worthless it is.
IMO, hunting takes no skill whatsoever. One just has to have the desire to kill a wild animal. Patience? yes. Subdued brainwaves and lack of positive motivation for a creative contribution to the World? Yes. Skill? Puuleaasse!
"Enjoy your abuse. I predict that today is the first day of the last of your posts. :)"
---And why would that be? I'm a Conservative on a Conservative web site. I enjoy this site very much. I'm Pro-WOT, and Pro-Hunt when it comes to Zarqawi, Zawahiri and Bin Laden.
I simply have views that you disagree with on so-called "sport hunting", Diana. We disagree, as do the majority of people around the USA. The majority don't hunt. There's no need to. If someone is starving up in the mountains, then, by all means - hunt- to stay alive. But this is not the case in this day and age. We are far beyond that.
So it is okay to kill things. You just don't like the motives of some?
Motive or reason would be everything... Forget hunting... Isn't there a difference between murder and killing an attacker in self defense? In both cases, a human being has died. But society will allow one, and treats the other as a crime.
I should say that I have no problem with hunters, no matter what their reason. Although I have no interest in hunting. I've hunted in the past, and I've decided that I'm just far too lazy to go hunting again. I'd much rather buy and BBQ a steak than clean a deer.

Why do some deem it so whacky for a Conservative to deplore 'Sport Hunting'?
Meanwhile, I'm going to be late for Church. See you all later on.
Elitism and socialism are unbecoming to conservatives.
Welcome to the home page of FHFH, an outreach ministry of God's people transforming a renewable God-given resource into food for the hungry among us. With your support and God's help, we are providing millions of meals to the hungry in America.

We are far beyond an agenda of controlling the rights of others. Are you?
Listen. You've been "outed" as a troll who continues to come back under different names. Just give it up already.
Good Hunting... from Varmint Al
I had fun, but the geese outsmarted me today. Oh well, I guess I have to earn my good days. The 50 mph winds made it real fun chasing decoys around the field, at least I got my excersise! LOL!
I see our little anti-hunter friend is getting his just reward, keep it up gang. Ignorance of the truth will get a person lots of trouble here on FR.
All the Best,
'Tis no Sport.
Does not qualify as a "Sport".
'Tis only anti-life cruelty.
And, no, I'm no PETA person or DU dufus.
I'm a long-standing Conservative voter who was urged to start this thread.
Cheers.""
You need to amuse yourself this weekend with something else. Whoever urged you is NOT your friend.
Are you suffering from too much tryptophan from your holiday turkey???
You are incorrect again. Not all national parks outlaw all hunting. Most do, however, like the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
Instead of allowing hunting there, they have to hire sharpshooters to come in and kill all the wild hogs that are destroying the native flora, and competing with other animals species for food.
I'm sure that makes you feel better, at least no crazed hunter got to kill them.
Of the four, only the bear hasn't been on my plate. Yet.""
Trust me ...you haven't missed a thing.
Says it all....
Why in the USA is anyone compelled to hunt? The "hunt" is the very essence of negativity, not the "very essence of life", IMO.
You've been watching way too much Lifetime channel. |
Oh, c'mon. Men have been killing things from Day 1. Why can't we obey the law and thin out the herds, while also repecting nature? Why does man have to be re-engineered all the time? Can we really perfect man by changing his nature? Is that the goal? If you don't like sport hunting , why not just desist and quit yer preaching?
"There are stores in every town. USDA raised and stamped food can be found there; retailers who rely on the consumer to purchase from them."
Why should I have to pay for something I can kill myself?
You are almost one of them. You think I should be forced to have someone else kill my food.
That is a very strange thought.
What is the matter with me relying on me?
You mean Turdy Point Buck?
Nice pictures. I can never tell when they're looking their best, in the wild, or when their feet are sticking out of the gravy. (HT, The Duck Commander).
I'm only 2 of 4 (duck, deer) in the "Frankly Slam".
Still need the bear and buffalo. I'd better get goin' on it.
Stand Fast!

It's just not possible to believe that your ego is the center of all things (like FranklySpeaking apparently does) and to refrain from evil. Without an objective morality it's impossible to tell the difference between that and good, and if the only thing that matters is your feelings and not the objective facts (again...just like FranklySpeaking) then Evil is exactly what you will get. At the end of the day the self proclaimed noble intentions of people like that will do nothing but harm to the wildlife population.
but I suppose we should know better than to try to change the mind of a liberal. Better not to argue with them at all I suppose, we should just keep them from hurting the rest of us, and encourage them keep their foolishness to themselves. In that way I guess they are kind of like the Bears themselves.
Being a liberal really does seem like some kind of mental disorder sometimes...or should I say 'Tis a kind of madness...verily.'
Yep. Da Yoopers saw him first!
