John Cornyn: 9/11 Image on Mexican Border

Arabic belongings have turned up along the Texas-Mexican border - including juice boxes with Arabic writing and a 9/11-like image of a plane hitting a building - according to Sen. John Cornyn.

"I will tell you that with my own eyes I have seen [this material in] Border Patrol anecdotal reports," the Texas Republican tells Human Events.

Cornyn is chairman of the Judiciary Subcommittee on Immigration, Border Security and Citizenship.

"Two examples," he said, were, "[photos of] juice boxes with Arabic writing on them that were collected by agents around the Laredo area." Cornyn said he was shown another picture of "a jacket that was found that had a patch on it with Arabic writing. "I don’t read Arabic," he told HE. "So I don’t know what it said. But it had a picture of a plane flying into a tall building on it."

Asked why Bush administration officials hadn't made the disturbing information public - Cornyn said he guessed they were protecting intelligence sources.

Last week Rep. John Culberson announced that an al Qaida operative who was on the FBI's terrorist watch list had been nabbed along the Mexican border and was briefly housed in a Brewster County, Texas, jail - before he was taken away by the FBI.

Honestly, I don't get too worked up about the border issue. But this is pretty creepy if true.

Time for the Militia to aid the Border patrol to tighten the borders. Do it all across the south and be prepared for 5th column US Muslims to house and aid the terrorists who are wetbacks? Build the fences yesterday!!!

Yeah! Suuuuuuure they were!

I think it has to do more with the fact if Mr and Mrs Average American were as aware of the border problem as most FReepers are, the sheeple would flood the streets of Washington D.C.

:)

Ironically, John Cornyn is part of the guest worker crowd.

If anything, the enemy is expert at exploiting weakness. Our borders, both Southern and Northern, are porous. This is reported in the press on a daily basis. We would be foolish to think that the Islamo-fascists are not aware of this. We've already caught one terrorist coming in from Canada. How long before a successful one sneaks in with the, ahem, good-hearted people from south of the border?

Yea, nuthin' to worry about. Just 10,000+ people strolling across our borders unaccounted for each week.

Time to go back to sleep, amigo.

/sarcasm off

Stories like this make my blood boil.

In 2008, we need to make sure that our party doesn't nominate another open-borders elitist who refuses to close our borders to al Qaeda.

That open unguarded border may just be Hillary's ticket back to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. If our party doesn't wisen up and do something about it.

If al Qaeda takes advantage of our open, unguarded border with Mexico to launch another 9/11 attack, we are going to be looking at impeachment. It's criminal (almost to the point of treason) how our government leaders are ignoring this threat.

No.

Because it would ruin their plan for the Great Socialist Community of North America.

They don't care about U.S. citizens, except for their tax money to fund their transnationalist agenda.

Action Alert We Need Your Help Now!!

Oppose the "One Face at the Border" initiative Email your Members of Congress asking them to oppose the "One Face at the Border" initiative

In 2003, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced the creation of a new Customs and Border Protection Officer (CBPO) position and the “One Face at the Border” initiative. Under this plan, a new position, the CBPO, would combine the duties of legacy inspectors from Customs, the Immigration and Nationalization Service (INS) and the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) into a single front-line border security position. With 41,000 employees, CBP is in control of 317 official ports-of-entry for travelers and cargo.

Essentially, the “One Face at the Border” initiative was aimed at unifying the inspection process that travelers entering the United States have to go through. Instead of making three stops – an Immigration Inspector, a Customs Inspector and an Agriculture Inspector – travelers would meet with a single primary inspections officer who was specially trained to do the job of all three.

Consolidating these three organizations has caused logistical and institutional chaos and has taken attention away from critical homeland security priorities. It is true that all three of these organizations deal with front line border and port security, but they do so in very different capacities.

Please copy and paste this and email your Members of Congress asking them to oppose the "One Face at the Border" initiative and support a detailed, independent review of the proposal.

When i was campaigning for W. I used a single explanation many times, for why a vote for W was a better idea.

It was that as a second term President, he would be the most likely to truly look out for homeland security, and our borders without fear of reprisal..
No first term candidate could ever afford to run afoul of V, Fox and the La Raza types.

I'm in W's home town area, and he would have a hard time defending himself on the call-in radio talk shows here.

His low approval numbers have nothing to do with Iraq, in west Texas.

Just how much does Dubya owe Slick & Co. for shipping the child back to Cuber? And allowing the photo of that federalie holding an SMG on the child?
It's all been gamed out.
