Rabbi Kahane's assassin was an Egyptian named El-Said Nosair. In addition, Nosair was also a protege of Sheikh Abd Al-Rahman, the internationally infamous "blind sheikh" from a Jersey City mosque, convicted of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. Furthermore, the gun used to kill Rabbi Kahane was given to him by Wadith El-Hage, a member of Al-Qaeda, who was convicted for the 1998 US embassy bombings.

A few authors wrote books immediately after 9/11 and had figured out that AQ was operating on our soil in the early 90's. This incident is mentioned in several of those books.

Now, if authors could figure out what was going on, why couldn't the FBI or Clinton's justice department? It becomes more clear over time there was DELIBERATE disregard for national security.

NEW YORK CITY TIMELINE OF TERROR

• September 16, 1920 – TNT bomb planted in unattended horse-drawn wagon exploded on Wall Street opposite House of Morgan, killing 35 persons and injuring hundreds more. Bolshevist or anarchist terrorists believed responsible, but crime never solved.
• July 4, 1940 – Detective Joseph Lynch of the Bomb & Forgery Squad received a call in his Bronx home that there was an explosive threat at the British Pavilion in Flushing Meadow Park at the World’s Fair and he should report to the Queen’s scene. He and his partner, Detective Ferdinand A. Socha responded to the scene. The British Pavilion had received a call the day before. A call in a gruff voice said, “Get the people out of the building. We’re going to blow it up.” The Italian Pavilion also received a similar threat. But pavilion officials refused police requests to monitor visitors, saying it would hurt attendance. A British electrician became suspicious when he found a suitcase that had been sitting in the fan room of the pavilion for two days. The case was slowly walked out of the pavilion – packed with hundreds of visitors in an areas of the Fair jammed with thousands of people – one of the busiest days of the international exposition ever. By the time Lynch and Socha arrived, the suitcase had been transported to an area behind the Polish Pavilion that was not as populated as the central international area. They quickly found that the maze of wiring was indeed a bomb and as they attempted to snip a wire with pliers, there was a blind flash that killed both Lynch and Socha instantly. One officer, William Federer of the 109th Precinct in Flushing, Detective Joseph Gallagher of the World’s Fair Precinct, Detective Martin Schuchman of Forest Hills, Patrolman Emil Vyskock of Corona were also severely injured. One lost a leg, another an eye and all suffered serious injuries. Most were treated at Flushing Hospital. The guilty were never found. Most observers suspect Nazi terrorists of sympathizers. The IRA was another suspect. The case is still open.
• 1951-1956 – A former Con Edison employee, George Metesky, explodes bombs at a series of New York landmarks including Grand Central Station and Radio City Music Hall. Metesky spends 16 years in a mental hospital.
• March 6, 1970 – Three members of the Weather Underground accidentally blew up their own Greenwich Village townhouse, which was being used as a bomb-making factory. 3 members are killed.
• December 11, 1974 – NYPD patrolman Angel Poggi, on his first night of patrol in Harlem, is lured into a tenement building with a bogus report of a DOA. As he pushes open a door leading to the supposed victim, he triggers a booby trap that exploded in his face, badly disfiguring and causing the loss of his right eye. The Freedom Armed National Liberation Front (FALN), a Puerto Rican National terrorist organization is responsible.
• January 24, 1975 – Fraunces Tavern (54 Pearl Street – Manhattan), 1:10 p.m. – A historic landmark and now a museum, where George Washington delivered his farewell address to colonial troops during the Revolutionary War. Several members of the FALN enter the Tavern, one of them carry a black attaché case containing a propane tank and explosives equivalent to ten stick of dynamite. The men depart the restaurant a few minutes after setting the briefcase against a wall and begin running. At 1:20 p.m., the blast turned silverware and china into deadly shrapnel. The bomb kills four patrons and injuring 56. The FALN demanded an unconditional release of five nationalists imprisoned in the U.S.
• December 29, 1975 – Croatian Nationals at LaGuardia Airport kill 11 and injure 75 after detonating a bomb with the force of 20 sticks of dynamite in a coin operated locker at the TWA terminal. The force of the explosion turned locker doors and metal pieces from baggage carousels into deadly shrapnel.
• September 10, 1976 – Terrorist Zvonko Busic, his wife and three other Croatian terrorists, as a result of concerns about the plight of Croatia within then communist Yugoslavia, hijack a TWA jetliner from LaGuardia Airport, bound for Chicago and re-routed to Paris, seizing 86 passengers. There were no weapons aboard the plane, but genuine explosives were left behind in a Grand Central Station baggage locker in order to create the impression that there were weapons on the plane. Bomb Squad Officer Brian Murray tragically lost his life attempting to deactivate the bomb.
• December 26, 1977 – Omega 7, a Cuban exile anti-Castro group detonated a bomb in the offices of the Venezuelan consulate in Manhattan.
• March 25, 1979 – Omega 7 detonated three bombs – one at Kennedy Airport, the others in New Jersey. The Kennedy Airport bomb exploded in a suitcase that was being loaded onto a US passenger aircraft. Had it detonated 10 minutes later, the bomb would have blown up when the plane was airborne, killing hundreds of civilian passengers and crew.
• October 27, 1979 – Two uniformed police officers left their posts at the Cuban mission to remove a disorderly and seemingly intoxicated man. As they escorted him to the front of the building, an Omega 7 members placed a bomb at the side entrance. The explosion brings down a wall, and the “drunk” member of the terrorist team fled the scene on foot.
• December 7, 1979 – Omega 7 detonated a bomb at the UN Cuban Mission, injuring two police officers. The explosion shattered windows within a 3 block area.
• September 11, 1980 – Omega 7 gunman assassinated Felix-Garcia-Rodriguez, an attaché to the Cuban Mission at the UN.
• October 12, 1980 – The Justice Commandos of the American Genocide (JCAG) claim responsibility for simultaneous bombings in LA and Manhattan. Six sticks of dynamite hidden in a car are detonated in front of the Turkish Mission.
• December 21, 1980 – Two pipe bombs exploded in a locker in Penn Station planted by the FALN, forcing thousands of holiday shoppers into the streets.
• March 17, 1981 – An FALN bomb exploded injuring two NYPD officers.
• April 16, 1981 – Two NYPD officers sitting in an RMP were gravely wounded by two Black Liberation Army terrorists who leaped out of a van the officers had stopped. The gunmen fired thirty shots from 9 millimeter automatic handguns. PO John Scarangella, 42 was wounded in the jaw, the right ear and his leg. PO Richard Rainey, 34, was shot fourteen times in the legs and back. After firing through the windshield, the terrorists came around to the side of the RMP and emptied the magazines at the cops inside.
• May 16, 1981 – An innocent 19-year-old news vendor was killed by a booby trapped briefcase that was left in a rest room at JFK Airport. Two other devices, one in a congested terminal area and another in a female rest room, were also discovered and diffused. Bombs were planted by the FALN.
• October 20, 1981 – Members of five domestic terrorist organizations attacked and robbed a Brink’s armored car at the Nanuet Mall. The terrorists killed a Brink’s guard and two Nanuet police officers and fled with $1,589,000 in cash.
• April 5, 1982 – An elderly woman was killed and 8 people injured in a fire caused by a firebomb at the Lebanese owned Tripoli Restaurant in Brooklyn. Credit was claimed by the Jewish Defense League.
• April 28, 1982 – A pipe bomb placed by the JDL explodes in the revolving glass door at the corporate offices of the Lufthansa German Airlines on Fifth Avenue.
• September 20, 1982 – A bomb caused extensive damage to Bankers Trust and to buildings across the street on Park Avenue. A man with a Spanish accent who claimed to be the Armed Forces of National Liberation (FALN) claims responsibility to protest the US support of the Israeli massacre of Palestinian people.
• December 16, 1982 – The United Freedom Front (UFF) detonated bombs at the IBM in Harrison (Westchester) and the South African Purchasing Office in Elmont (Long Island).
• December 31, 1982 – The FALN strikes again, this time they planted three bombs in lower Manhattan. One bomb secreted in a Kentucky Fried Chicken box severely injures PO Rocco Pascarella outside of One Police Plaza by blowing off his left leg. That same night, other bombs detonate at 26 Federal Plaza and the Metropolitan Correctional Facility, injuring Detectives Salvatore Pastorella and Anthony Senft from the Bomb Squad.
• September 6, 1985 – Elmars Sprogis, a 69-year-old former police officer in his home country of Latvia, was slightly injured when a pipe bomb exploded on the front steps of his house in Brentwood, Long Island. Sprogis, a recently retired construction worker, had recently been cleared on charges he helped kills Jews during World War II. An innocent bystander, Robert Seifried, has both legs blown off. He had been trying to put out a fire on Sprogis’ porch when the device detonated. The fire had been set to lure Sprogis out of this house. The JDL claimed responsibility.
• April 12, 1988 - Japanese Red Army member Yu Kikimura, was arrested for suspicious behavior at a rest stop along the NJ Turnpike. Inside his car, a NJ State Trooper found three homemade anti-personnel bombs disguised as fire extinguishers that were intended for a terrorist operation in leveling the U.S. Army Recruiting Station located in Times Square to coincide with the second anniversary of the U.S. retaliatory air strike against Libya in 1986.
• New York: 1989 - Attempted suicide attack on near the 125th street Lexington Avenue subway station.
• November 5, 1990 - Rabbi Meir Kahane, controversial leader of the Jewish Defense League, is shot and killed while speaking to a group of supporters outside the Marriot East Side Hotel. Egyptian El Sayyid A. Nosair, the alleged gunman, reportedly walked up to Kahane as he was answering questions and shot him in the head and chest with a .357 Magnum revolver. Nosair, a naturalized American citizen, ran from the scene and commandeered a taxi at gunpoint. While the taxi was stopped at a red light, Nosair encountered U.S. Postal Police officer Carlos Acosta. The two exchanged gunfire and Nosair was captured.
• February 26, 1993 - A truck bomb exploded midday on the B2 level of the World Trade Center (WTC) garage in New York. The attack, led by Ramzi Yousef, was meant to topple the towers, caused a five-story crater and damage totaling over $500 million. Six people were killed; more than a thousand injured.
• June 23, 1993 - Between June 23-August 23, 1993, the New York JTTF made 15 arrests of men linked to the bombing of the World Trade Center in 1993 that planned to target other New York City landmarks such as the United Nations headquarters, 26 Federal Plaza housing the FBI, and the Lincoln and Holland tunnels under the Hudson River linking New York and New Jersey with simultaneous bomb attacks.
• March 1, 1994 - Rashid Nagib Baz, a 28 year-old Lebanese cab driver opened fire on a van of 15 Hasidic Jewish students crossing the Brooklyn Bridge. Ari Halberstam is killed and three other students were seriously wounded. Baz was reportedly seeking revenge for the February 25, 1994 massacre of 30 Palestinians killed in Hebron by Baruch Goldstein, a New York born Jewish settler.
• December 21, 1994 - Edward Leary exploded homemade bomb that sent a fireball whooshing through a subway car, injuring himself and 47 others. The crude bomb went off while the subway train was parked in a station.
• March 20, 1995 - The Japanese cult Aum Shinrikyo released Sarin nerve gas in the Tokyo subway. The FBI was conducting surveillance on an apartment at 8 East 48th Street where the group maintained an office used to procure software and computer equipment.
• February 23, 1997 - Ali Hassan Abu Kamal, a 69 year-old Palestinian teacher shot seven people, killing one, then himself, on the 86th Floor of the observation deck of the Empire State Building. Before he started shooting, Kamal dropped to his knees and started praying before he killed a young Dutch tourist.
• July 31, 1997 - Gazi Ibrahim Abu Mezer and Lafi Khalil, Palestinian and Jordanian nationals, threatened to detonate pipe bombs at the Atlantic Avenue subway station, a major transportation hub in downtown Brooklyn. Mezer and Khalil chose this target because they thought that this station was being heavily traveled by Jewish New Yorkers who live in the borough. A roommate of Mezer and Kahlil tipped the plot to the NYPD, who raided the apartment arresting both Mezer and Kahlil and seizing 5 pipe bombs.
• September 11, 2001 - American Airlines Flight 11 and United Airlines Flight 175 crash and explode into the World Trade Center building Tower 1 and Tower 2 respectively. 101 minutes later both buildings collapse killing 2,819 people.
• June 19, 2003 - An Ohio trucker named Iyman Faris, admitted to helping plan al Qaeda attacks in the United States after meeting terror chief Osama bin Laden at an Afghanistan terror training camp. Faris, checked out the chances of destroying the Brooklyn Bridge and tried to buy equipment for proposed al-Qaeda attacks while appearing to be a law abiding trucker.
• June 2004 - Personnel from the Iranian Mission to the United Nations (U.N.) were thought to be engaging in reconnaissance of landmarks, infrastructure, and public transportation in New York City (NYC). Authorities caught Iranian U.N. security guards videotaping sites at least three times—in June 2004, November 2003, and June 2002.
• August 27, 2004 - A U.S. citizen and a Pakistani national were arrested in an alleged plot to bomb the subway station at 34th Street in midtown Manhattan and possibly other locations around the city. The arrests came two days before the start of the Republican National Convention.
• August 6, 2004 - Abu Eisa al-Hindi, a key al-Qaida figure who was arrested in Great Britain, directed the surveillance of financial institutions in New York, New Jersey and Washington during 2000 and 2001 and prepared the detailed reports about them that have prompted fears of an attack. There was evidence that al-Hindi did conduct on-the-ground surveillance at the New York Stock Exchange and the Citigroup building in Manhattan and at the Prudential site in Newark, N.J.

The article makes a mistake when it mentions Sheikh Rahman's affiliation with only the Jersey City Mosque. He was also involved with the Brooklyn Al Farooq Mosque which has been a center of Islamist activity including recent material from Saudi Arabia inciting terror, and most importantly Able Danger and Mohammed Atta.

Previously, Shaffer said that Atta, an Egyptian, had been linked to the El Farouq mosque in Brooklyn, N.Y., a hotbed of anti-American sentiment once frequented by Sheik Omar Ahmed Abdul Rahman, know as the "Blind Sheik." Rahman is also Egyptian. Atta was not believed to be in the U.S., however, when he came to the attention of the team.
In 1995, Rahman was convicted of plotting to bomb various sites in New York City. Four of Rahman's associates were convicted in 2002 of conspiring with him to commit terrorist acts while he was in prison.

So the FBI ignored Rabbi Kahane's death and its implications. Nossair was acquitted. We by the grace of God escaped a death horror in WTC1's chemical bomb attck, ignored more Islamist terror and ended up with WTC2.

The man who killed Meir Kahane in 1990 claims he did not carry out the shooting alone, as previously thought, but was part of a three-man terrorist cell with links to al-Qaida. Its original target was future prime minister Ariel Sharon, according to a newly-leaked US government document.

During his investigation for an article into alleged counter- terrorism blunders published in Playboy magazine on Friday, freelance journalist Peter Lance uncovered official FBI memos which bring new information to light about the murder of the Israeli politician in New York.

According to the documents, Kahane’s killer, El-Sayyid Nosair, told detectives in 2005 that he had planned to assassinate Sharon, who was then Israel’s minister of housing and construction.
