Tribute to the Dog
One who posses beauty without vanity,
Strength without insolence,
Courage with ferocity,
And all the virtues of man without his vices,
This praise, which would be unmeaning flattery
If said of a human,
Is but a just tribute to my dog.

My greyhound who we had to have put down at the beginning on the year was almost human how she used to lay on the sofa.
She also used to get into bed with the covers over her

This is Mortimer, we got him about 8 weeks ago. This picture was taken the next day. He was about 9 weeks old then
He was about 9 pounds then, now he's over 12. He's half standard Schnauzer and half Catahoula Spotted Leopard Dog. His general shape seems to be Schnauzer, his coloration (and tail) Catahoula.

I forgot about the eyes. Those are characteristic of the Catahoulas. It's a little spooky, isn't it.

My gosh, every thread you do is better than the last one. These photos are almost as cute as *you*.
You really do a wonderful job with the pet thread, lots of work involved, more than just posting graphics. : )
You know, wolfie is a 'pet'. : )
