Rush was wrong today (A Vanity, short and sweet)
Narses

Rush today claimed the left was bashing his 24/7 offer to 'adopt a soldier' because they wanted to bash him. The reality is this - the left fears the volunteer army now and in the future because they have lost the 'moral high ground' of the anti-war movement of the Vietnam era and they fear most of all the serving members getting used to thinking like us. The Limbaugh Letter (in their eyes) is propaganda that would pollute the next generation of political leaders. They are in abject fear of that.

Let them tremble, help Rush get him the truth. Free men will lead us and help us preserve freedom and the left HATGES that. This is a good thing. :)

I heard that, too, and came to the same conclusion. This time, it isn't about Rush; it's about getting his program and his ideas and his unwavering support out to the military, and the looney left HATES that idea. I've already signed up for several of the gift subscriptions. I think it's a great idea.

IMHO, this was a little bluster on Rush's part as he knew by taking this road it would make him look good. The old, "Aw shucks, tweren't nuthin" routine.

That said, the program is pure brilliance. Suggested by a listener.
