No, that's not called "genocide". Genocide is the destruction or elimination of a racial group. But, to be fair, the use of this word has gradually been expanded to include any sort of affinity group. I suppose it could apply nowadays to Boy Scouts. Elimination of Islam as a religion need nod imply the killing of its adherents, merely their conversion to a more humane religion.

Sorry that you didn't have time or the desire to read the article. It is one of the most well thought out and well reasoned pieces on the subject. However when your standard regards one mistake as reason for rejecting all future work, you must be terribly limited in your reading matter.
As history is our witness, that is precisely what it would take. To think otherwise would be the equivalent of leaving a few cancer cells behind in an operation because they were minding their own business.
I agree entirely. And although it's been discussed somewhat upthread let me expound a bit.
Islam is a religion/mindset entirely dictated by it's scriptures, the koran and the hadith. These scriptures command the moslem to fight against and either kill, convert or subdue all unbelievers in islam. They have no choice. To follow their religion they must fight against us.
So from a straightforward reading of the koran we see that this fight will not end until we cease to exist or until there are no more moslems.
Now, for the sake of argument, let's assume that all these 'radical' moslems, the ones who really believe and follow the koran, terrorists in other words, all drop dead instantly. We are left with only moderate, somewhat westernized moslems still reading the koran but not really following it. Eventually one of their children will read the koran and find all these things that are very blatnatly laid out that they are supposed to be doing, like fighting unbelievers, and they will spread the radical islamist poison again.
The only permanent solution is the utter destruction of islam or the utter destruction of our way of life.
When it comes down to choosing between me and my children or the moslems, I say neutron bomb the entire moslem world and let God deal with them.
Islam is the enemy and the war on terror ends with the death of the last moslem.
(Note that you can't really trust them even if they claim to convert because islam commands them to lie to gain advantage in the fight. moslems have no honor)

Some systems failed, did they not? Perhaps without all the hype, more would have crashed. Who really knew what was going to happen except a few rare systems folks?
Besides, all the hype was responsible for taking all the un-employed analysts, code-writers and programmers off the streets and out of the bars and pool halls for many months. ;>
