College probes teacher who urged fragging by GIs

A community college in northwestern New Jersey is investigating a part-time instructor who vowed to intimidate students who host conservative speakers at the school. The teacher also called for U.S. soldiers in Iraq to kill their superiors. At issue is a personal e-mail written by John Daly, adjunct instructor in writing and developmental English at Warren County Community College in Washington, N.J. He sent it to a student after she asked him and other faculty members to announce that a veteran of the war in Iraq would appear at the school.

Fox's John Gibson was subbing for Tony Snow and actually got the professor on the radio show. John had him for lunch. Gibson kept trying to get the professor to repeat the words he used in his written piece and he wouldn't. So, Gibson kept calling him a chump and a coward.

The University is the only guild system that survived the middle ages. ( They got to be proud of that) And you do not get a job in the university without working under whomever you will be taking over for. So they can make sure you espouse the same liberal crap they have for decades. Until they are sued and forced to have political diversity it will continue.

The actually title should be "Leftist School forced to act after besieged by Freepers". This story showed up a few days ago and the response from emails and phone calls against this teacher was tremendous.

According to the newspaper, Mr. Daly said: "A lot of people are really upset about this main comment, my belief, and the belief of others, and the historical evidence that the war will end when soldiers turn around and fight for social justice here at home."

Really Mr. Daly? You want a group who is 95%+ conservative, avid hunters, NRA life members, and Freepers to come home and fight for "Social Justice". Do you, Mr. Communist, really want that? Do you, Mr. Traitor, really want to see us annihilate those who support dictatorships and freedom destroying politicians inside the USA?

I ask because here are examples, and note, none are Bush and Co.

So, Mr Daly, you want US soldiers to fight for "social Justice" within the USA? Since you and those you support ARE the cause of much social injustice, I ask that you reconsider your request.

Whenever you see the word "social" in a political context, always assume that the speaker means "government" unless the context dictates otherwise. "Social justice" is simply "government justice" - tyranny.

I was thinking sedition myself. Where do college profs get such protected status? Tenure is bad enough but it seems like even when they blatantly break the law, no action is ever taken, even by the police. College campuses are not sovereign nations.

Community colleges are increasingly becoming dependent upon part time faculty. They are cheaper than full time, but there is a shortage. So they wind up scraping the bottom of the barrel to get someone to teach one class paer semester for $2K. The community colleges are getting what they pay for.
