So she spoke against the resolution after she voted for it?

When you are one of the only three members of your party on the same side of a vote, should you really be the minority leader?

Pelosi voted against it - she didn't side with the three. If the article is correct, she's denouncing a resolution she voted for.

Apparently, showing what you stand for is "a new low".
This article needs to be read by every voter in the country.

Pelosi said that the "Republican majority has stooped to a new low" by forcing Democrats to go on the record against an immediate pullout...How dare they be forced to put up or shut up. We called and they folded. Ha!
Even Murtha didn't vote to recommend immediate withdrawal.

Any time Nancy Pelosi says something's a disgrace, you know that something good happened.
To: InvisibleChurch
Anti-war House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi is blasting last night's 403 to 3 House vote in support of U.S. troops and their mission in Iraq, calling it "a disgrace." Well, at least she's honest. To her, supporting the troops is a disgrace.
To: InvisibleChurch
Outmaneuvered, eh Stretch? Squeal away.

Nice out of context quoting by Newsmax

"she's denouncing a resolution she voted for."
Absolutley amazing. Old Stretch Pelosi cant have it both ways. What a dumb hag.
To: InvisibleChurch
I wonder whar the vote would have been had the bill had exactly the same wording as Murtha's statements ...also could the Dems have tried to ammend the bill to their liking? did they?

Pelosi slammed Hunter's proposal as "a political stunt and should it be rejected by this House" But of course! Don't the Republicans know that only DemocRATs are allowed to pull politcal stunts? You can ask Harry Reid, he'll tell you!

Pelosi said that the "Republican majority has stooped to a new low" by forcing Democrats to go on the record against an immediate pullout. Forcing?? If dimocRAT opposition to the war, our troops, and their mission were anything other than baldly politically motivated, there wouldn't be any 'forcing' about it.

Yep, she voted against it. The three for it were:
Jose Serrano of New York, Robert Wexler of Florida and Cynthia McKinney of Georgia, voted for withdrawal
