[Hollywood star JOHNNY DEPP is so shocked by the riots raging through France, he's considering abandoning his home in the country.]
Depp and Paradis moved to France to bring up their children because he said LA was too violent. Has he become disenchanted after the recent riots and curfews that spread out from Paris? "It's insane that setting cars on fire is the new strike. It takes a lot away. I'm sure it'll clear up to a certain degree, but now we are based back in LA because I have work here. I went there [to France] to live because it seemed so simple. Now it's anything but. I don't know how they'll recover from this."
ElbowCookie?
(daughter's term, age 2, traveling on the road from CA to CO, "are we in ElbowCookie yet?")
Welcome to the real world, Johnny.
Isn't there some other wonderful place to live besides the USA?
I would not rent one of his movies either, although my 12 year old daughter saw one of his movies at a friend's house and said he was creepy...the movie was Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. A kid's movie panned by a kid...that says something for ya.
Expect others to be singing "Oh Canada" before nightfall.
No offense, but are you familiar with Roald Dahl? Willie Wonka, the ORIGINAL, was creepy. That your daughter pointed this out only means that she's seen a Willy WOnka movie.
Depp, say what you will, is a great actor.
Imagine a world where we only paid money to see those who agreed with us on every issue. Silliness.
I don't mean that we have to support Tim Robbins or those types, but Depp, whatever his failings, is not a leftist activist. I don't feel the need to boycott everyone who isn't in lockstep with me. If I did, I'd have to boycott many social conservatives too, since I'm a libertarian.
I do not know who Roald Dahl is, the Willie Wonka my children have seen previously was played by Gene Wilder. Perhaps you can tell me what point is it to have a children's movie that creeps out children.
Depp, say what you will, is a great actor.
I haven't said anything about his acting skill...I said my daughter thought he was creepy. I know that in the trailers I'd seen for the movie he came across very much like Michael Jackson...which is to say, he creeped me out too.
LOL!
Ya know, the guy is a good actor and though he maybe anti-Amrican in his views I at least got to give him kudos for putting action to words unlike Cher and Alec and the rest.
When he said he was gonna leave he did it.
Yeah he is a nut ball and leftist crybaby but he at least had the nads to walk his walk.
Tis unfortunate for him that he chose a country who is in the middle of a culture war and is gonna surrender to people that will cut his head off for any of the films he has made.
Life is hard, isn't it? (You sniveling, spoiled, egotistical little puke!)
Life must be so tough for Johnny Depp. Personally, I think he should stay in France.
Please, oh please, don't come back here.
Hey Depp,
Move to Whitehorse, Canada. Very low crime rate.
Hey Johnny, I'll pay you and your family's one-way ticket to Havana where all is peace and love.
"Look at me. I'm French. See? See? I look French, don't I?"
HAHAHAHAHAHA!
I mean it's not like he doesn't have ....er... well he did go to high school... for awhile.
Well anyway, He LOOKS SO SMART... so we got to cut him some slack...
f'ing little pussy... stay in France and hug an Islamo-thug. I'm so sure they're gonna love you back, you hump.
Give him some credit. At least he can read the handwriting on the wall. He's got a new appreciation of what he gave up. Silly people like Depp will be with us always.
