Professor to soldiers: Kill officers in Iraq (Campus Commie Alert)
WorldNetDaily.com ^ | November 18, 2005 | Kevin McCullough

Always remember this: "Tolerance – the great "virtue" of the American left today – never applies to those who do not share their opinion." Also remember this: "Jerky college professors who are intolerant of others always believe themselves superior to everyone else."

Picture your college-age daughter working hard in extracurricular activities to bring a much respected war hero to her college campus to speak to students about his experiences. When she innocently invites faculty to attend, she receives a reply that not only threatens her, but proceeds to suggest that America's fighting men and women commit treason and execute their commanding officers.

Think it wouldn't happen? It did ... this week.

Rebecca Beach, a freshman at Warren Community College in New Jersey, had worked hard to invite the decorated hero of the War on Terror Lt. Col. Scott Rutter to appear yesterday to discuss the progress being made in Iraq. In response to her invite, Beach received this: "Real freedom will come when soldiers in Iraq turn their guns on their superiors."

John Daly, the professor who responded, went on to tell Rebecca "that he will ask students in his English and writing classes to boycott the event and also vowed "to expose [her] right-wing, anti-people politics until groups like [Rebecca's] won't dare show their face on a college campus."

Good for you! Seriously, the left has been prancing around in all of its nonsense as if it has the authority to do so openly for far too long.

Leave that sort of crap to the Libs. Th best thing we can do regarding anti-American retards like this is expose them, not threaten them, or, worse, make martyrs of them.

His actual rank is probably instructor (or lecturer, depending on the school) which is a notch below professor, but it's not unusual to call lecturers "professor" as a courtesy. (Especially if you can't call them "Doctor".)

It is part & parcel with the expanding universe.

Back when the universe was about half its present diameter, we called them "Mister"; and even the few PhDs at the community college were called simply "Doctor".

Professors...actual holders of a chair...were highly insulted, and let one know it, if one addressed them as "Doctor" rather than "Professor"; and they jealously guarded the term from upstart encroachers.

To put "Professor" in the first line of his official campus bio would have been a declaration of war upon the administration.

His stated official rank is Adjunct Instructor; not even full instructor.

Ah, I think I misunderstood the source of this bio - I thought it was something that the university had written. It is tacky for this guy to call himself "Professor", although it might be courteous for others to do so.

Even though etiquette is more relaxed now I was always careful not to refer to myself as "Dr." or "Professor" when I was a non-Ph.D. lecturer (and I corrected people when they called me either of those).

Good on you!

Isn't it amazing how those assholes who wear insane or insulting political statements on the shirts --- back down when they get "challenged"....

The one I love -- is the "By any means necessary" shirt with the raised black fist...

The shocked and dazed look that comes over the face of those that I ask - "Does that include getting an education or working"?, never ceases to amuse..

Maybe they worry that if this old man "disses" them in public, he must be armed... (They are right to worry)

Any idiot that walks around with an insult on their chest, SHOULD expect to run into a few folks that will "respond" to the insult....
Too bad dueling is illegal...

I've just had it with the Che shirt wearers, and I like to shame them in public. Same with adults wearing those nasty "FCUK" shirts and hats.

Inevitably they will say, "This is America and I can wear any shirt I want!"

And I say, "And I can call you a sick pervert who is trying to corrupt children, no different than a flasher! I'm tired of explaining your FCUK to my children!"

Ditto what I said to this guy about Che, in front of his girlfriend. "You can also wear a Hitler or Stalin shirt if you want, but I can also say you are glamorizing a mass murderer! Is that what you want in America, firing squads? Because that was all Che ever did: order innocent men to be arrested and shot."

It's great, they don't know how to respond.

"It's great, they don't know how to respond."

The lack of response, indicates at least two things about the wearers:

1. They're incapable of thinking logically for themselves, and that's why they wear "slogans".
They also seem only able to speak in PC cliché learned by rote...

2. They're too cowardly to acknowledge the "challenge" to their shirt's insult -- so can only respond with "this is America" and I can express my opinion, or something similar...

I once bought one of these pimply faced, spiked hair assholes to wide eyed shock and near to tears - by telling him that I once had to kill folks to defend his right to be an asshole....

To be a leftist today, or hold ANY leftist/Marxist/Communist/Progressive up as a hero --- requires one to be uneducated, brainwashed or insane...

Note: Having a degree does NOT guarantee being educated...
Many of the MOST ignorant Leftists, have multiple "degrees".
Unfortunately, none of them have a foundation in reality..
