I couldn't bear listening to the little I heard. Kim Possible was more entertaining.

yes i too believe that individual is a troll. something they said in this thread about it "backfiring" on repubs raised a red flag-- and i too read some of those comments in old posts.
but i am too tired tonight to engage this moron.

'never called a political leader in my life, until tonight'
Good for you! And, I urge you to make a habit of calling your Reps and Senators. They are "supposed" to represent us, so WE, THE PEOPLE, need to let them know what we think!
To: Will_Zurmacht
Nice analysis, but I think the reason the dems didn't vote for the resolution is that they KNOW the recent polls (on Americans tiring of the war) are cr*p, and the dems KNOW they have a bad reputation now on defense, and voting to immediately withdraw the troops would just point out to the whole country how untrustworthy they are on national security.
To: 4integrity
That was my first thought when I heard how angry the Dems were over the comparison. Michael Moore must be feeling much like our troops right now ------ Betrayed by the Democrats :-)

IMO, "political leaders" aren't necessarily those in public office; it those who take action, like many in this forum.

If we are going to do political parody, let's do it so we can't be ridiculed by the left on such obvious but dumb mistakes as misspelling the names of the enemy.

Don't laugh, It's series!! lol

this is why they want the troops home and the war over with, so they dont have to campaign on national security/war issues for 2006 and 2008

Of course, you'd run the risk of being called a coward and a traitor, but being a democrat, you're probably used to it....hehe.The bigger danger for our creepy rat friends is the Iraq "intervention" being defined as a success. I never cared much about WMD as a reason for becoming a presence in Iraq. I saw it more as a knife in the sternum of the Islamo-loonies. Wheel right, wheel left as necessary.
