I understand your anger Peach, but this isn't 1973 and the MSM no longer controls all media flow. We have the Internet and the new media to confront this problem.

We are in a much better position today to stop this. The left isn't doing anything I haven't expected from them, they always attack from the gutter.

What we need to fix is the representation in Congress, it isn't enough to just vote Republican, we need to elect the right Republicans.

Its business as usual in Washington, they live in a different world inside the beltway and until we make them understand the world has changed it will not stop.

This country is still under the spell of Political Correctness and a biased MSM doing everything it can to bring down this president including forging documents to rooting for the enemy.

People want to jump ship on the president because of Harriett Meir's, Katrina, the border, etc. but unless he has the support of his party to back him up he is severely handicapped. The president hasn't a chance to lead us in the direction we wish to go if Congress is stabbing him in the back.

Social Security fell on its face because Republicans didn't get behind him on the issue and Democrats just spread their propaganda until the issued died.

If the soldiers are getting the wrong message then the left is winning, we need to find a way to get the message we support them out and make them understand that most of what they hear is political and doesn't represent the average Americans point of view.

I think Rush has taken the idea of a caller and he is running with it. The adopt a soldier idea is great, and anyone who can obtain the words of Rush and understand what he is saying will be able to put what is happening here in the states into perspective.

As far as the traitorous politicians who are undermining the war, we need to attack without mercy until the back off, the president and vice president have already started, let's back them up.

The polls on the presidents low popularity is part lies by the Liberal media outlets that conduct them and part successful propaganda by the left asking questions to those who don't know any better what is happening.

We must fight back, we cannot give up, we can do this.

True, but they still control enough to sway a significant portion of the population.

The morning network programs (Today, Good Morning America, etc.) are still viewed partially by 10's of millions. The evening national news programs are still viewed by 10's of millions, too.

The total cable news viewing usually maxes out around 7 million on big news events.

Many millions ONLY catch bits and pieces of daily news and are not news junkies (like many of us on FR area). The average person watches a bit of the morning programs to catch up over night, and they watch the compacted nightly news to catch up the day's news. They don't spend allot of time digging through raw materials and reading/listening to various analyses and commentaries.

Thus, they hear morning after morning, night after night, that Bush lied. That eventually sinks in. Marxist theorem: Tell the lie long enough and people will believe it.

Where is the counter? Cheney giving a speech that gets scant media attention at some obscure conservative group. Bush giving a speech that gets cursory cable news coverage to military persons at some military bases. What does the general public hear on the nightly news? Bush lied Bush lied Bush lied.
