Read a few items lately on people making plain old hooch.
All you need is a nice clean new garbage bag, a bunch of fruit juice, and some moldy bread.
Some guy tried it, let it brew for a week, srtained it, tested it with an alco-meter.
14% ethanol. He said it was quite drinkable!

I am happy to report that Mrs knewshound continues the tradition by assisting yours truly in the effort to brew better beer.
The fact that she is gorgeous is a bonus for both tradition and marital bliss.
