Ted Koppel will conclude his 25-year run on ABC's "Nightline" with a look back on lessons from Morrie Schwartz.

In 1995, "Nightline" aired a three-part series of interviews with the college professor, who was dying of Lou Gehrig's disease. The series caught the eye of a former student, sportswriter Mitch Albom, who began a weekly series of visits that led to the best-selling book "Tuesdays with Morrie." It also was adapted into an off-Broadway play and made-for-TV movie.

"In thinking about what to do for a final broadcast, the Morrie interview is certainly one of my favorites," Koppel said. "Some of `Nightline's' most fascinating shows over the years have featured people no one has ever heard of, and Morrie is a perfect example."

Koppel's final ABC News broadcast will be Tuesday. The following Monday, ABC begins a new incarnation of "Nightline" with three anchors.
