Slappy wins.
Guerrero should have won it.
Know when they're going to name NL MVP?
Albert...
The DH rule should be eliminated.
A DH should not be MVP.
Probably A-rod playing a defensive position everyday makes him more "valuable" than Papi since their hitting numbers were roughly comparable. I guess I can live with this even if A-Rod has proven himself to be not exactly "Mr. October".
$1 million bonus for A-Rod for winning MVP.
Hee hee hee....
"A DH should not be MVP."
I see your point. How do you feel about them giving it to Eckersley and Clemens? If they are going to give it to pitchers, I think the DH should be in the mix.
Know when they're going to name NL MVP?
Tomorrow.
YEA GO AROD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LOL CLEMENZA YOU ALWAYS FIND THE AROD THREADS!
Tomorrow.
Why can't you tell us today? :)
"The DH rule should be eliminated."
I felt that way before Ortiz came to Boston and will probably revert to that after he leaves. What really bugs me about the DH is that it gives license to certain thug pitchers to throw at hitters and avoid retaliation. Even as a Red Sox fan, I could not stand seeing Pedro drilling Jeter. I did not hear about Pedro getting into any incidents now that he is in the NL.
"The DH rule should be eliminated."
YES! The DH rule is a black mark on the AL.
"Albert..."
If there is any justice it will be Lee. If not, Jones SHOULD win it over Albert.
Edgar Martinez had more class than 99% of the entire MLB combined, showed up everyday ready to play, never bitched about how much money he was getting, and put up insane numbers. Always there to help out his team mates get better and didn't start acting like a team player only when the cameras were turned on. I take him any day of the week if I was building a team over A-rod.
I don't agree. The DH rule is fine by me.
Nor Clemens.
Too bad he can't replicate his regular season performance in the playoffs. He's a great stats guy when nothing is on the line.
ping for later.
