It looks like the MSM is becoming more brazen about misleading their viewers. Here we have an example of Tim Russert insinuating that Colin Powell said the administration misled him and the American people.

This example is probably one of the more egregious, but it just shows what he is.
I think even Rush has backed off his stern defense of Little Russ.
By doing exactly what you are doing... rebutting lies with the truth, to as many people as you can reach. If we all do that, the lies will melt. Good post.
Russert knows as well as I do that Col Powell isn't up to defending the administration at this point, even if he WERE ticked enough at the media making a Democrat platform scapegoat out of him to get up the energy TO reply.

Good point...that's why he thinks he can say it with impunity. In fact, that's the MO for the mainstream press. Say what they want on Page 1...if somebody complains, correct it on the back pages where no one can see it. If no one is up to taking them on, it's ignored and in the public record.
That's why they hate Rush and the internet so much. Suddenly, someone is taking them to task with their own words and other proofs. They are just like the Dems...upset because they've lost their POWER.

if this is sent to Brit Hume, maybe it will make his "Grapevine" segment. I've noticed he will cover discrepancies by the MSM's that are pointed out on FR. I've sent several items to him.....may be coincidence but don't care how it came to Brit, as long as he exposes the bias of the libs/Dims/MSM...all synonyms.
Just think of the upcoming LIbby trial, with Russert on the stand....being taken apart by Libby's lawyers for his "discrepancies" in reporting. His credibility is already shot, and I look forward to that trial where Russert will be completely exposed for the liar he is.
I was very pleasantly surprised that Chris Wallace would not let Rockefeller spin. Loved that clip that Wallace played where Rockefeller used the "imminent" word...and Wallace pointing out the President did not.
Rockefeller was seething.....LOL! Good for you, Chris Wallace.
But, Pat Roberts needs to find some spunk. Why do the Senate Repubs still think that being "nice" or polite to the Dims will help?? The Dims take this as weakness and jump even harder on their faces!

It's really scary when the MSM does this, because they know exactly what they are doing to mislead the public when they edit that way.
