I thought our ultimate goal was to get Rodguy to MN and INTO an ice fishing hut!

They certainly need to come alive a bit more,
Yep. Going to help with the election year starting. Got people out campaiging. Problem we Conservatives have is we have LIVES. We do not do this perpetual campaign 24/7 like the Hysteric Left does

I always wondered about staff vs civil service....Linda Tripp was kept on by Bill Clinton. The historical knowledge angle makes sense....

The rats haven't learned the difference between political opposition and traitorous behavior in time of war, they should.

I am good with my hands, relatively bright, relatively prosperous, physically fit and determined, however I am NOT God. Sort of an Act of God, I do not see how we can get Rodguy to MN in the winter. Heck, if I did not have to work for a living I would go move in with HIM and his Mrs's from Feb 1st to May 15th every year! People spend millions of dollars every year to go hang out where Rod lives! Guess he is just one of the geographically gifted!
Better keep it quite though. Hillary and the gang will want to slap a "environmentally gifted" windfall tax on him if they find out.

, that it has become tax payers versus tax money recipients, which includes workers
It a pity it is so hard for so many voters to grasp just what upward pressure there is structured into Govt spending. We really need STRUCTURAL restrain written into the law to just level the playing field!

I am always curious what people think Bush should do to "punish" Senators? I mean it is, after all a Co-Equal branch of Govt. Seems to me this habit of aiming all this angst at Bush is the wrong thing to do. The people who should be getting spamed with Hate Mail are the Congressional Leaders and the squishy "Moderates" who knifed us over ANWAR in the House. All ready called my two Weak in the kneed Minnesota boys, Jim Ramstad and Mark Kennedy and told them to take me off their donor and volunteer lists.Sorry to be late responding - I went to a beutiful ceremony at the Naval Academy Chapel this afternoon.
I am thinking of Bush's apparent inability to say a harsh word to his adversaries, not punishment of Senators.
Specter goes to Venezuela and meets with Chavez. Bush could; say OY, I'm the president. The legislative branch of our republican form of government does not speak for the Administrative Branch, or make policy.
Something like that would really please me.

My understanding is it's all a mix. Billy Dale and the WH travel office were civil service, I think, but Clinton had the prerogative to replace them. Instead of just letting them go, the Clinton's accused them of illegalities, which backfired on the WH. I'm sure most government workers are good people who just want to do a good job, regardless of party in power. But, there are enough partisans to disrupt everything by having an agenda.

Don't worry about how cold it might be. Just wear your shorts and you'll be fine in MN. Maybe a light sweater would help too.
