Bill Clinton and his wife, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, will interrupt a visit to Israel to travel to Jordan on Sunday night to meet with King Abdullah, a spokesman for the senator said. ... The Jordanian official said Clinton would hold a news conference at one of the hotels, the Radisson SAS.

Those people are never going away! They think they are still running the country! I see Hillary is riding "her husband's coattails again. What happened to that "independent" woman who is going to run for President? Will we be promised "two for the price of one" again?!!! NO THANKS!

Yes, I remember your post. I didn't skewer you because you were telling the truth. The speech should have been primetime.

And I will ask yet again. Just how many national elections have you "Why doesn't Bush fight back" crowd won?

I think monthly would be good .. but vary the time of day when you give the speech. Morning speeches are lost on those who work. Evening speeches will get more of an audience than morning.

The article (http://www.haaretzdaily.com/hasen/spages/644798.html) didn't state which traitor would speak. They just can't have the King spouting off against terrorism, now can they?

Dont ever forget about the 80+ people - including women & children - who were burned to death in Waco, Texas under Clinton's watch.

That's good .. but you need to add the body count of Americans when all these attacks went unchallenged.

If this crap coming from the MSM and Democrats all the time can get Freepers down, imagine what's happening to people who are not as politically astute?

One important point I'll heap on Rush, at least he's always upbeat and motivated for our side.

I cannot stand it that Clinton runs around the world as if he is STILL President...and, instead of using the attention to spread the word about how our country wants freedom for everyone, etc...

He BASHES Bush!!! I swear, if he goes to Jordan, with the democratic POTUS candidate on his side...and tries to make the attack in Jordan, BUSH's fault...

His passport should be consfiscated!!!

I am not saying he will, but he would want to...and I bet he does behind the doors with Abdullah...

Shouldn't this trip be chalked up on Hillary's campaign fund tote board????

I do see this backfiring too. Once the public hears BOTH SIDES they have been voting predominately Republican. And another post in this thread brilliantly described this by noting the bounce the Repubs get after conventions that Dems don't.

There can never be progress if they have no other alternatives. They know they can't just dump Iraq....they know they can never get a moderate on their side with that...so they are just playing to the base to get more money...I see them flayling in a different direction come 2006.

Senator Jay Rockefeller is a disgrace. How any state could justify electing someone like that baffles me. I thought he was better than he's proving now. He's more like the others in his party who have no credibility or character, such as Teddy, Levin, Hillary, Schumer, etc.

The Sunday Times November 13, 2005

‘New Bill’ emerges to thwart Hillary
Sarah Baxter, Washington
THE God-fearing governor of a southern state who has been described as America’s “new Bill Clinton” could end up fighting Hillary for the Democrat presidential nomination.

Mark Warner, who is compared to the former president for his “crossover” appeal to voters, is emerging as a top contender to stop Clinton’s wife from winning the Democrat ticket in 2008.

Democrats were this weekend savouring victories in elections for governor of Virginia and New Jersey and a drubbing given to Arnold Schwarzenegger’s reform package in California. But the real victor last week was Warner, a multi-millionaire and motor racing fan.

The 51-year-old outgoing governor of Virginia is basking in sky-high approval ratings of 74% in a state that voted for George W Bush as president by a wide margin and has a Republican-dominated legislature.

He is on his way to New Hampshire this week, a key battleground state in the presidential primary elections, to woo Democrats after helping to deliver victory in Virginia to Tim Kaine, his successor.

snip

Many Democrats now believe Clinton is not a shoo-in for the 2008 nomination. Despite her move to the political centre she still has to shake off her reputation as a divisive east coast liberal with little connection to the “values” voters of middle America who helped win Bush a second term.

Husband Bill had all the virtues necessary to woo voters in the South and Midwest, as well as some undesirable vices. Those who want “Bubba” without his downside are looking with fresh eyes at Warner.

“He is the hot candidate at the moment. He offers many of the same advantages to the Democrats in 2008 as Bill Clinton did in 1992,” said Larry Sabato, a polling analyst at the University of Virginia. “A lot of the Democrat elite realise that Hillary Clinton is an enormous risk.”

That is what was so astonishing about Dean's interview... He came right out and said..."Democrats job right now is to STOP the Republicans, not put out an agenda".... HOW dumb can this man be???

Maybe he's actually on the GOP side! No party chairman could be so ill-prepared or stupid enough to go on MTP and be completely clueless about what his party stands for. Maybe we should just clam up when it comes to Dean and let him finish off the Democrats by his little, nasty self

YEEEEEEEEHAHHHHH!!!

Another line I love is when you challenge the local rag and they say, "but we get complaints from the other side too."

Yeah, they must teach them that at journalism school. I always ask, if you get a complain from the KKK and a Muslim Civil Rights Group which would you take more serious?...

The Civil Right group.

Oh really, they why is the vapid moaning extreme Leftist KKK style pressure groups taken as being equally serious as the complaints ordinary customers made about your agenda drive "news"? coverage

The thing that should astonish anyone is.......have you ever seen Ford, Reagan, or Bush 1 go to another country to criticize a sitting president................? Shows you the character of the party that is currently out of power!!

Shouldn't a prerequisite to sitting on the Senate Intelligence Committee be to have some?

True. Perhaps intelligence is not important in a blue state?
