Rep. J.D. Hayworth (R) AZ

Um Mr Congressman Hayworth, were is the legislation beefing up board enforcement and criminal penalties for businesses that hire illegals?

I keep hearing all this ranting at Bush. Just what, if ANYTHING, is our completely gutless CONGRESS doing about the issue? They control the purse strings. What legislation have you offered to deal with the issue Congressman? What the status of that legislation. How about we have some REAL Conservative ACTION instead of the none stop whining for Bush to come hold Congresse's hand???

Guess Congress seems to forget they are a Co-equal branch of Govt right up until Bush asks for some Party LOYALTY out of them. Sure remember you are co-equal when it comes time to screw Bush and the Republican base over Congressman. How about a LOT more action and a LOT less whining?

The Palestinians have already tried to take over Jordan once before, back in 60's I believe. I don't remember a lot of the details now, but hopefully someone will fill in some backgound. Something around a quarter of a million of them or so were in Jordan, and once they felt their position was strong enough they did what they always do and started the intifada. The Jordanian king at the time (the father of the current king) responded by slaughtering tens of thousands of them and kicking the rest out of his country. Even other Arab countries don't want the Palestinians - they are the absolute scum of the earth, but useful for whipping Arabs into a frenzy over Israel.

Bill Clinton and his wife, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, will interrupt a visit to Israel to travel to Jordan on Sunday night to meet with King Abdullah, a spokesman for the senator said. ... The Jordanian official said Clinton would hold a news conference at one of the hotels, the Radisson SAS.

I hope someone is awake and working in the White House. The RAT Senators and others been blasting the President and the response has been tepid.

Brit Hume has the key. He pointed out, in simple terms, that the RATS all supported the war when it began but have cut and run when it became more difficult. Not said by Brit, but equally true is the RATS are trying their best to cement the antiwar wing into their party.

IMHO somehow we need another war here. A war that points out the RATS bugged out when the going got tough and want us to cut and run as well. "Cut and run" really sold during the last election and it is time to dust it off. Take no prisoners! Also point out the RAT party is fractured and comprised of interest groups with different and contrasting agendas; hence, they seek to lie about what was said and why.

Did you hear Dean's sort of answer when Fat Timmy sort of asked him what Mehlman wanted to know about the treatment of Michael Steele???

When Russert asked Dean if he approved of the name-calling by dems of Steele, Dean said that he knows that sometimes Republican candidate "make-up" stuff like that...

so, IF it is true, then he would have a problem with it.

That's it---no follow up by Russert.

RE: Schumer looking into Steele's personal information---Dean:well the couple people that supposedly did it got fired.

No more mention of Schumer being behind it.

Brit say people will go their own way if ratings slip..suggests that is what happened on drilling ANWR..vote..Conservative dems bolted and moderate Rep voted against.

Then Congress people are stupid. All the Dems have to do is have their tame stooges jimmy the data and the weak kneed Congress will bolt. Really need Republican to remember why they were sent there. Funny how gut less all the Pundits are to take on Congress but have NO problem sniping at the White House day after day. Wonder why that is. Never see a Miers style revolt directed at the gutless Congress.

MNJ, you're right on point. We need stronger leadership from Senate leaders. But, in addition to more pressure from the White House. Hume was right earlier on FNS, when the president looks weak, senators feel free to go off the reservation.

If this is a charity event...why isn't Clinton paying for his own travel and entourage?

You have got to be kidding! The Clintons never pay for anything, ever! They were never poor either. They used everyone else's money while they stashed theirs in overseas accounts and claimed they were 'poor'. BS! They didn't have that many expenses to begin with because they lived in GOVERNMENT HOUSING (either state or federal) most of their lives. Don't listen to the MSM when it comes to the Clintons. They aren't about to tell us the truth about them.

No. All I heard was the old tired party-line rhetoric. Coffee or no, old tired party-line rhetoric is old tired party-line rhetoric.

Both only had canned talkingpoints responses.
