If you missed this yesterday, it is a letter from another Father very angry with John Kerry. The letter also tells about WMDs and other things that the MSM failed to report and all the left who call themselves Americans, have and are lying about still.

My son is leaving Wednesday for Iraq. He will help continue the fight for freedom in the world from tyranny and injustice. We might one day stand where this father stands. I pray that we will have the courage he has shown in the face of his son's death.

We salute the military!

I see alot of AMEN's...but how many of you are donating to this cause...Jim...why don't you give a small percentage of what you took in from the last Freeperthon...that way, it would be from all of us....in addition to the individual donations. I'll wait to hear your answer.

Thank you sir for you son. As I look at my own two sons words mean nothing. I hope the county continues to live to deserve him.

I owe you sir. I have two children: a boy 9 and a girl 5. Your son gave his life for them. I can never pay this debt to you. Thank you ( that sounds so shallow, but the English language fails me now.). He gave my children an opportunity to grow up.

Fun fact from a US marine currently serving in Iraq:

"Captured enemy have apparently marveled at the marksmanship of our guys and how hard they fight. They are apparently told in Jihad school that the Americans rely solely on technology, and can be easily beaten in close quarters combat for their lack of toughness. Let's just say they know better now."

The following quote from one very famous english philosopher summed it up very well over a century ago:

War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.

John Stuart Mill English economist & philosopher (1806 - 1873)

God bless the men and women of the US and all coalition forces fighting the scourge of Islamic terrorism.

The soldier stood and faced God, Which must always come to pass.
He hoped his shoes were shining, Just as brightly as his brass.

"Step forward now, you soldier, How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek? To My Church have you been true?"

The soldier squared his shoulders and said, "No, Lord, I guess I ain't.
Because those of us who carry guns, Can't always be a saint.

I've had to work most Sundays, And at times my talk was tough.
And sometimes I've been violent, Because the world is awfully rough.

But, I never took a penny, That wasn't mine to keep...
Though I worked a lot of overtime, When the bills got just too steep.

And I never passed a cry for help, Though at times I shook with fear.
And sometimes, God, forgive me, I've wept unmanly tears.

I know I don't deserve a place, Among the people here.
They never wanted me around, Except to calm their fears.

If you've a place for me here, Lord, It needn't be so grand.
I never expected or had too much, But if you don't, I'll understand.

There was a silence all around the throne, Where the saints had often trod.
As the soldier waited quietly, For the judgment of his God.

"Step forward now, you soldier, You've borne your burdens well.
Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets, You've done your time in Hell."

~Author Unknown~

It's the Soldier, not the reporter who has given us the freedom of the press. It's the Soldier, not the poet, who has given us the freedom of speech. It's the Soldier, not the politicians that ensures our right to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. It's the Soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag.

I have tried to teach my children that it is these kind of Americans that are the brave heros who deserve to be honored for our freedom...I have tried to remind them that it is these brave soldiers who have secured their freedoms...It was men like this and men like my dad at the age of 16 who fought for us. My dad was a child when he volunteered to fight the cause of freedom...I will never, ever let my sons and daugters forget that...Thank you dad!

My son is my hero.
Your dear and beloved brave and courageous son is our Hero too.

It is a great and enormous pride that America is blessed with men and women of the highest caliber gifted with an exceptional spirit to stand firm and resolute on the front lines in the bloody battlefields defending Americans on the homefront as well as those who have been oppressed and brutalized by despotic tyrannical dictators.

God Bless your dear son, Mr. Williams. Your son is our Hero. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and my families heart for giving America a true and vitally bold and courageous patriot.
