We shoot people for cutting us off. Your are right it wouldn't go far. We would open fire on the unruly mob.

It's like he's ignoring the 5 million elephants in his living room and only noticing the mouse.

Can you imagine what would happen in Brooklyn if mobs of Muslims were going around torching cars? The Goombas would go nuts. Come morning, there would be a few burned cars and hundreds of corpses.

"French are running out of cars?"

Who cares? The haven't made a decent car since the Facel Vega, and that was Chrysler powered.

When they start looting, the Parisians will get nervous.

The French government should pass a law that all Citroen's from now on have to be fireproof. That will solve the problem.

Running out of easy targets. They have "overfished" and soon will have few new fish.

Maybe there should be a law that they can only burn two cars each/night, or maybe only cars 5 years old or older, so that younger cars could grow.

Seriously - would you park anywhere near these areas at this point?

My wife likes to ask me to name a French muscle car.

Try it - (Facel Vega not allowed due to Chrysler power and low production) (Citroen SM of course is Maserati power) etc.

Notice how far back you will go.

I really think it reveals something about their culture. At least to an American. Italian, or German it must.

Rush coined another expression for the Mainstream Media: he calls it "The Katrina Media" - by Katrina media, meaning they've gotten nothing right.
Rush: "Remember the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina? Where are the 10,000 bodies? I want to see the 10,000 bodies. 'Til I see 10,000 bodies I'm not going to believe a damn thing that these people say anymore."
I posted his transcript here.

As usual, Rush is very perceptive. It's funny how the Left hates him so much, they never take his advice-- he routinely tells them how to cure their problems, but will they listen? Nooo!

Actually, it has been ongoing throughout history.

President Thomas Jefferson and the USA's first foreign war was with the Barbary pirates -- who where Islamic. The US Navy was commissioned specifically for that reason.

===

from Jefferson's Thoughts on War

Jefferson's war against the Barbary pirates was also a war between the United States and the Islamic kingdoms of North Africa, which sheltered the pirates, Tripoli, Tunis, Morocco, and Algiers. In answer to cries of injustice towards a people of differing religious opinion Jefferson had always said,
"If ever there was a holy war, it was that which saved our liberties and gave us independence."

Well, you are right. The difference is that Islam was on the defensive after 1700. Napoleon's invasion of Egypt was part of a major effort from the Europeans to control the Middle East. So we go into a period of colonialism which the Muslims think of as religious warfare but we do not. The Muslims can depend on the sympathy of the socialists who associate colonialism with capitalism. Since they have no insight into the thinking of religious people, the socialists insist on ascribing social and political motives to islamofascism, which are really secondary to the terrorists or even to ordinary Muslims.

"We returned to an almost normal situation in Ile de France," said Gaudin, referring to the Paris region. He said that 86 vehicles were burned, which he said was about normal.
