President Bush is making a speech at noon. Fox is reporting he will address the criticism aimed at him by the democrats in the past two weeks.
Mod note: Click here for transcript thread.
Thanks for the heads up
I trust that's noon ET?
"President Bush is making a speech at noon. Fox is reporting he will address the criticism aimed at him by the democrats in the past two weeks."
How about he should have done this before Tuesday's elections?
I hope he'll finally drop the new tone crap but I have my doubts.
I bet the Dems are shaking in their boots.
About time. Bush has the bully pulpit as a tool. He needs to use it, not waste it.
Here's hoping he gives the speech while standing up facing the camera and not bent over holding his ankles.
I hope he comes out gang busters too. But I am not getting my hopes up. The silence from the White House has been deafening and I have been very disappointed in their non-response.
Freedom on the march... ownership society... War on Terrorism... Freedom on the march still...
Wake me when he politically pops the dems in the nose.
The President will be less than 10 miles from me, but Tobyhanna is completed shut down, you couldn't get anywhere around it for miles...
He is only seeing the people who work at the Army Depot, its not open to the Public....
And I so wanted to see him...oh well...
This will only be effective if he stays on the offensive and is able to work with the Republicans in the House and Senate to take control of the national agenda again.
The lack of leadership from the top in recent months has been discouraging. Hopefully, this is a sign that things are about to change.
Just tell it like it is, Mr. President. Don't pull your punches.
He has let us down. Now is his chance. Will he take the ball and run or pass it to Harry Reid?
I would love for him to get up there and read all the statements made about Iraq by Democrats during the 90's.
He should phrase it as if he was repeating his claims against Iraq and then say "Oh wait.. I mispoke, those aren't my statements. Those are the statements made by Bill Clinton, John Kerry, Carl Levin, etc. before I was even President."
How about their lies about him the past 5 years!
Me too. Wish I could write his speech for him, but then there would be too many bleeps to understand what he said.
I predict the libs will wait till 3pm to respond. LOL!
Ditto. Although, Drudge has a NYSlimes article that says that now that Fitzpatrick appears to be done, that Rove is now back in the saddle. Let's hope the guys in the WH get back to leadership and get some discipline back on the Hill and start fighting for an agenda. Enough with lying around in a fetal position being kicked by the DemonRats and the MSM!
