County GOP party is organizing against this as well....PING TO ALL WELD COUNTY FREEPERS
Thanks so much for doing your part.
This is the same group that stood outside Ronald Reagan's funeral with signs saying "God hates fags" (the last I read in the Bible, God doesn't hate anyone, only the evil they may do) and expressing joy at this great president's death. They are first class, low rent scum.
RIP Pfc Tyler MacKenzie
Glad to hear that! Thanks for letting us know that those within the state are aware and are preparing for this. (o:
I'm more than half convinced that he's been funded by Soros or someone at this point.

Have you called in the bikers??? My impression of LDS is that they might not really like that, but at least the family won't be able to hear Phelps Welps yelp.
Phelps is a deranged bastard. His kids are nuts, and why can we not get an injunction against him desecrating funerals??
Baptists or whatever these scum are calling themselves are the lowest of all the bottom feeders! This is wrong, wrong, wrong on every level!
"I hope the LDS does not find us offensive."
I am a mormon mom in Louisville, and hope to come help with my kids and husband. I think it would be great if those of you who are on bikes talked to the Mormon Bishop who is leading the service beforehand and just let him know that the revving of the engines is a way to drown out the anti-war losers. It would be good for him to know who is there defending our fallen soldier.
Just reading this thread made my blood boil. Let's all go and support this family. Most of the LDS people I know are proud patriots. If you want I can find out who the bishop is and contact him tonight.

Jeff - Do you have connections within the LDS church for help in this?
These "people" protested this week in Edmond, Oklahoma, at the funeral of a soldier killed in Iraq. The next day the local newspaper, The Daily Oklahoman, had an article on its front page about the funeral, the number of people attending it, the honors paid to this soldier, the ordinary people lining the streets from the church to the cemetery to pay their respects. Nowhere in the article was any mention of the protesters. That was written about in a separate article several pages back. The protest was covered, not censored, but not in the same article. The paper would not pollute its coverage and respect for this fallen soldier by including in the same article any mention of these hateful protesters.
Call in sick. I'm a little concerned whether the family would take offense, but better patriots on hogs, than nutcases shouting horrible things at the family.
They have been here in Kentucky protesting. A few bikers revving engines and no one even knew the protesters were there.
This is a funeral, it is a solemn occasion and the dignity of the deceased and their family should take precedence over everything else. Anyone who would plan to interfere with this is too worthless to be described as human.
I just left a message with the stake president of the Greeley stake, and plan to follow up with a phone call tonight. At least he and the family will be aware and prepared.
