Will European civilization soon be a thing of the past?

Sometimes I have to wonder how far behind them we are.

France and "Rome" are hardly in the same category.

The Muslim youths now rampaging through the streets of Paris want to fill that vacuum with Muslim rage.

From the Religion of Peace?

What are the differences? (other than language)

The barbarians are burning Rome again.

While our elected Neros fiddle! This situation has been brought about by eager capitalists hungry for cheap labor, politicians raised on marxist utopian ideas, and complacent, happy populations voting the rascals into office. 12-20 million muzzies in Europe, up from 250,000 50 years ago? Have we been asleep?! Have we been totally ignorant of the history of this religion?

A school is burning right now in Belfort and there is still a lot of violence around the country.

The media and wires have stopped covering it... You have to learn about it from French blogs.

No, the Roman Empire that extended throughout Europe was brought to its knees over time by barbarians from within its borders. The same can be said about France and Europe in general, though I'm not saying the Chirac's government is about to be toppled any time soon.

Actually, Rome was "saved" a couple of times by folks the elites thought of as "barbarians". The "barbarians" worried greatly that Rome was going to the dogs.

In 538 AD the Western Roman Empire went down for the last time. The Dark Ages began that spring, and lasted, more or less, for another millenium. The Eastern Roman Empire stayed in business.

No, but France has been pretending and postulating to the Middle East and Africa as the modern equivalent of ancient Rome, and is now actually burning.
Kharma is an awesome thing to behold in action!

We, Americans, can take a clue from the events in France, Germany and Belgium and maybe the whole of EU.

Read my lips: The 5 million dissidents referred to or whatever they are calling them tonight, are mostly the children and relatives of "guest-workers" who were working in these EU countries in the past.

Now if you think in 10 or 20 years the same thing can't happen to us but on a larger and grander scale where we, ourselves will be supporting people who have an axe to grind...

Just happened to be watching TV last evening and this business about the Rosetta Stone came on. Reminded me that Napoleon had conquered Egypt only to lose it to the Brits.

The French have been seeking to recover their glory in the Middle East ever since.

"It is hatred," Belien insists. "Hatred caused not by injustice suffered, but stemming from a sense of superiority. The 'youths' do not blame the French, they despise them."

"Social scientists" have long blamed crime on low self esteem.

The reality is that criminals have entirely too damn much self esteem, and a sense of entitlement that allows them to justify crime as "taking what's theirs" and "sticking it to the man that's keeping me down"

Muslims are fed a steady diet of how superior they are to the infidel. Then the must reconcile their economic and social reality. The only way out for their egos, is to decide that they are being kept down by evil-doers. Hence the rage and violence. They are essentially psychotic, and there's only one solution for mad dogs

Another notable quote: "We are always but one generation from barbarism".

Makes you think, don't it? It should make the Frogs think hard.

In a sense, this is worst than an Al Qaeda attack. The latter is usually a single event of large proportions, which by its nature can't be repeated frequently without the perps getting caught. What's going on in France is a level higher in violence, pure anarchy that can't be contained and is infinitely repeatable. I'm not sure the French have a large enough military to pacify 300 cities.

France has had it's filthy hands in many wars that would not have been fought, were it not for French dreams of power.

Let France burn this time!

The EU concept might have worked, but for French involvement.
France is just a useless "shitty little country".
If humanity ever gets a chance to "vote" the worst troublemaker off the island, I have no doubt France would win!

"The barbarians are burning Rome again."

France (Gaul - the land of the Franks) is where in 732AD invading Islamic armies suffered their greatest defeat by Charles Martel's Frankish army, pushing the defeated Muslims back over the Pyrenees mountains saving Europe from Islamic rule.

Today's Islamic enemy has been infiltrating Western nations for over 25 years waiting for the orders of jihad, one country after the other.

The leaders of anti-Western jihadism unlike the invading Muslim hordes throughout history, have vast oil profits and know how to use the Internet to spread hate and recruit new, expendable jihadists, more than willing to self detonate, as in Jordan, Iraq and Afghanistan & elsewhere.

France appeased Saddam and is now paying the price - whose next?
