He is bound by the law not to divulge the ip or other personal info about MD4BUSH.

FR would get sued until the end of time.

Rhetorical question:

If a Democrat committed treason, really, really, really bad treason, the kind that resulted in thousands of American deaths, would the democrats be able to find a reason to investigate and prosecute?

I'm not so sure it would be ILLEGAL Jim Robinson to divulge the IP address or other information about someone who breached his User Agreement. But I'm no expert on the ECPA or similar laws.

That is my thinking also. If MD4Bush breeched his User Agreement with FreeRepublic by giving his access code (password) to a "third party," then it seems to me that FreeRepublic is free to use that information to further this story.

The WashPost has sworn on a stack of Bibles, so to speak, that it got the code from MD4Bush legitimately, "through an intermediary." And, FreeRepublic is under attack on this very subject.

Under those unique circumstances, which have never applied to any other of the 200,000 or so participants on FreeRepublic, my conclusion is that JimRob may release the access information (computers used, exact times of day, etc.) on MD4Bush, as he, JimRob) chooses.

Does that make senses to you, JimRob? You have paid me a quarter in hand received, and this is legal advice from a fairly experienced First Amendment lawyer.

Cordially,

John Armor, Esq.

It used to be a tradition among high school students in Baltimore to sneak out to the cemetery where "Black Aggie" is located, and sit in her lap at midnight. This got to be such a big deal that my understanding is that Black Aggie was moved to a more secure location, and a different headstone was placed on this grave.

I remember the folklore well.

They did move her to somewhere safe and museum-like in Washington - far enough from the high school students of West Baltimore and Baltimore County to calm things down on weekend nights in Druid Ridge Cemetery.

But the legend lives on!

Can't we just move on and put this behind us?"

Sure! As soon as you move on from the Tom Delay case, and the "CIA leak" extravaganza!:-)
