Tony, here's something to discuss to remind the demoncrats what really occurred yesterday.

California and New Jersey shouldn't surprise anyone. Virginia hasn't elected a same party Governor as the President in a very long time. Texas voted against Homosexuals on their ballot, and Ohio, which really was the BIG STORY of the day, kept the demoncrats from rigging elections. The demoncrats were counting on this one for 2008, but the voters saw through their lying ways. Of course the liberal MSM will play this up for all it's worth which isn't much, but they have so few talking points that they will grasp at anything.

CIA asks Justice Dept. to review prisons report (Trent Lott thinks a republican senator leaked it)

"Every word that was said in there went right to the newspaper," he said. "We can't keep our mouths shut." Lott, a former Senate majority leader who was pushed out in 2002, suggested the information was passed along by a senator to a staff member. He said the investigation Frist and Hastert want may result in an ethics probe of a Senate member.

A group of election reforms backed by liberal Daddy Warbucks George Soros has crashed and burned in Ohio, leaving Democrats unable to capitalize on a year's worth of complaints that the state's 2004 presidential vote was rigged.

Voters soundly rejected the four Soros-backed proposals, which would have overhauled the way Ohio runs its elections.

The initiatives would have opened absentee balloting to all voters, lowered the cap on individual campaign contributions and put boards, instead of elected officials, in charge of drawing legislative and congressional districts and overseeing the state's elections, according to the Associated Press.

With 25 percent of the returns tallied, the AP said the absentee ballot question was trailing 61-to-39 percent; the campaign contribution cap was losing 64-to-36 percent; and redistricting and election oversight were both trailing 67-to-33 percent.

A coalition of unions and other Democrat-leaning groups organized under the name Reform Ohio Now wanted to wrest control of elections from Republican state officeholders. Critics said the ballot measures would empower special interests and encourage fraudulent voting.

According to Ohio's Journal News, three of RON's major donors are organizations funded by Soros.
