"until we experience a social meltdown"

People, by nature, are basically good and productive. The average person is not spending the majority of his/her time engaging in all of the illicit, immoral and unethical behavior that is currently allowed and even encouraged in our society.

The good news is that there will never be a complete meltdown.

The bad news is that we will forever muddle our way through a sea of mediocrity.

I agree, a ca guy. We need to keep taking it to the opponent, they will stumble of their own accord eventually.

Uhhh,, speaking of Republicans and the CA GOP ,,where's the (M)ilk cheerleading squad tonight? ;-)

Did the aliens abduct them again? Somebody check the base of the Malibu cliffs. lol

I wish.. Too bad they didn't take Mike Murphy, Doof and Parsky with them. :-)

The Rats jump up and down with glee every time we eat our own. And you know that and Reagan knew that too.

Unfortunately, we have a third player in this game and he lives in Iraq.
AND YOU KNOW THAT TOO!

The way LA is trending + Alameda sitting back at only 30% counted, I's say 75 is done. I leave a little hope for 73

BTW, wasn't the City of Redlands voting to bring back the cross on their seal tonight? How is that vote going?

This will work for about one year until all of the revenue generators move to happier climes and there are no more gooses from which to yank golden eggs.

Doesn't seem to have chased out the revenue generators here in CA. They keep re-electing Dems and RINOs and buying new schools for the kids of illegals.

I resent what you said about Arnold. Everyone knows marriages where the husband and wife do not vote the same. Some of the most staunch conservatives in this country came from Socialist or Communist lands (Vietnamese, Cubans). Arnold became a conservative because he saw first hand how socialism doesn't work, and actually harms the people where it's practiced.

We just have to convince more of them to see things our way! ;-)

I agree. My experience is that many CA people are uneducated and lazy about 73-77. If 73-77 lose, then I'll be really sad. The positive is that the issues are now public and the next election cycle will have similar issues. Today was a good first round. And the unions are not winning by much at all.

The prospects for 75 are better than 73, albeit both are against the wall. 75 is down 0.3% while 73 is over 2% in the hole. I wouldn't bet on either, but 75 has a smaller threshold to cross to get into positive territory.

It seems a big problem here in California was low turnout in conservative areas.

...errrr...we have "conservative areas"?

If you wern't sure of your self and your state you wouldn't
be going on with your crap to convince yourself.
There are more people in San Diego county than
in your entire st. of Nevada. It is easy to run things
in a little state like yours.

Yeah, but we have never raised taxes enough to pay for all the crap they ask for. If we did that then even Rob Reiner might consider moving back to Yonkers!
