While Many Americans are watching the chaos unfold following 12 nights of mayhem by largely Muslim immigrants in the streets of France, a leader of the separatist Aztlan movement in the U.S. says it's only a matter of time before worse unrest hits the streets of America.

"Can a similar insurrection occur in the USA?" asks Ernesto Cienfuegos of La Voz de Aztlan.

Yes, he concludes.

Well Pelham boy, I have lived in an Mexican neighborhood in Chicago, spent most of my life in NY (which has a large Mexican population now), and travel frequently to Californication and Texas. Funny that Texas has a larger Mexican population than Californication, but Texans don't whine about it that much.

Legal immigration from Mexico is just like legal immigration from any other country (Poland, China, India, Colombia, etc.).

"Funny that Texas has a larger Mexican population than Californication, but Texans don't whine about it that much."

Our Mexicans come from northern desert areas of Mexico. They have their own cowboy culture. Geographically northern Mexico looks like west Texas. Unlike California ,Texans pay sales tax but no income tax. This makes it tougher for illegals to completely sponge off us. Health care is the only area where the illegals really cost us.
La Raza has a little support among liberals at universities. Mexicans more than make up for this by supporting public school reform. Most Mexicans, support vouchers. Third generation Texans/Mexicans do not support handing Texas over to Mexico.Texas has a way of making people like that move to California.

typical Ernesto, worth reading to get the mindset, her is an excerpt:

....We are in receipt of your "press release" concerning the appointment as police chief of National City, California of the killer of Luis "Tato" Rivera in 1975. If I am not mistaken, this is the case in which the appointed police chief, Craig Short, cowardly shot the 20 year old Mexican-American youth in the back with a 357 magnum.

Worst of all, you mentioned that the "hispanic" mayor and two "hispanic" councilmen of National City, a city that has a 65% Mexican-American population, approved the appointment. I believe this points to the principal problem our community faces today. We are no longer being provided representation in government by elected officials that should be providing our community a voice. This problem is now endemic in Alta California all the way from the Lieutenant Governor Cruz Bustamante to the local city councilmen and school board members. These elected representatives are not representing us but have become mere lackeys of the two party dictatorship, mostly of the corrupt Democratic Party. They have sold out the "real" interests of the Mexican-American community and their entire focus is to enrich themselves and their cronies.....
