Reports coming in of a male student having shot 3 faculty members with a rifle. Faculty now on Lifestar helicopters.
The liberals who passed laws preventing administrators or qualified teachers from concealed carry (per proper background checks) should be hanged. Now.
$0.01 says it was unarmed adults, disarmed adults.
"I wonder what the shooter's motive was?"
To shoot people. I know it is a common question...why?...but I really am not concerned as to what his motive was. Good - evil, right - wrong, helpful - harmful, life - death...
People know right from wrong when it comes to these matters. This student chose to walk down the wrong path and chose to murder these people. I do not know how old he is but I hope he is tried as an adult.
Update: from WATE (6);
"JACKSBORO (WATE) -- An assistant principal is dead and two other administrators wounded following a shooting Tuesday afternoon at Campbell County High School.
Authorities say male student walked into the school cafeteria around 2:00 p.m. hiding a .22-calibre hand gun under a napkin, then allegedly opened fire on the three men.
Assistant principal Ken Bruce was killed. Principal Gary Seale was wounded but managed to tackle the student and the boy was taken into custody.
Another assistant principal, Jim Pierce, was shot in the chest.
According to Campbell Co. Sheriff Ron McClellan, Seale and Pierce are in very serious condition.
The were flown by Lifestar helicopters to UT Medical Center.
According to Gail Parks, the administrative assistant for the director of schools, no students have been hurt in the incident.
Student suspect in custody
The suspect is identified as Kenny Bartley, 15. He is in custody at St. Mary's Hospital in La Follette.
Bartley has an injury to his hand that may be a gunshot wound but is not considered serious. He will be taken to the Campbell County Jail after receiving treatment.
The suspect is the son of Ken Bartley, owner of Ken's Pioneer Arcade, one of the businesses raided last week by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation for running a video poker operation.
Immediately after the shooting, despite being shot, the principal announced to the school over the public address system the school was under a lock down. Parents and others were not allowed to enter or leave the building.
At normal dismissal time the students were escorted out to the waiting buses or to the custody of their parents.
Jacksboro Police, the Campbell County Sheriff's Department, LaFollette Police and other area emergency services responded to the scene.
Enrollment at the school is about 1,400.
Second shooting death
The shooting death was the second in Tennessee this year involving a school employee.
Stewart County school bus driver Joyce Gregory, 47, was killed as she stopped to pick up a student on her route on March 1.
Jason Clinard, 15, is charged with murder in that case and will be tried as an adult."
Sherrif: "We don't know yet. I have the individual at the hospital," McClellan said. "These men are all fine Christian men, and I am at a loss for words." (On the motive and his reaction)

My guess is that the administrators and the teacher weren't pure as the driven snow either. This teenager knew specifically who to target. It's been proven that time after time, these shooters target those who have been bullying or harassing them.
Administrators get away with a lot in the public schools, even child abuse and no one holds them accountable. I, my husband, daughter, and two friends eyewitnessed a school administrator go completely out of control, berserk, screaming, and she got away with it! This situation was completely unprovoked by any of us and all of us will swear to that in a court of law. We reported her unprofessional behavior, even going so far to notarize statements about it, but she told the school superintendent that we were the liars and he and the school board chose to sweep it instead.
This madwoman is unfortunately in a powerful position to make a lot of peoples' lives miserable as she knows how to use the "system" to hurt families...a real monster. While I don't condone shooting people, someone like her, who is out for blood and who would stop at nothing to indulge her power trips, could drive someone to the very edge. Why the district continues to hang on to her is anybody's guess.
So much for "zero tolerance."

It seems like most murderers get out in 7 to 20 years so what difference does it make juvenile or adult.
The US Supreme Court says we can't put him to death.
In the absence of other information, I will refrain from blaming the victims. Perhaps you should as well.
That I know, (have a model 500 12 ga. scatter gun) but a handgun was used. .22 LR is the story I heard.

"Lockdown" has always been used to describe the aftermath of unrest and riots at state prisons. Our government public school administrators now use this phrase routinely, for any school disturbance.
Ritalin isn't the problem in this area Meth however is. Meth has replaced moonshine and pot fields as a quick means of cash. Anderson and Campbell Counties have more than their fair share of the states meth producers.
Want a clue? Here it is. Why is that county having an ongoing type A Hepatitis problem they can't seem to get a handle on? Likely answer? A drug problem they can't control either.
The county is poor, unemployment is high, the mines closed down long ago even most strip mines are mostly shut down. A few small companies that pay just above minimum wage and a lot of persons out of work in that area.
The community has it's good and bad along that mountain. Last week the county south of it had a road crew shot at. Around Halloween in some places along the mountain you don't go up there at night. I've heard deputies and VFD's get trapped in by morons with chain saws to cut trees down over the road, tires to burn in the road after that is accomplished, and no way in or out for those responding to it. I know because I hear the radio traffic in that area. The worse area for it is Briceville but it's not in Campbell County but near it.
That's part of the problem right there. I live just south of Jacksboro. The high school I went to had a senior class of about 100-120. The principal also a preacher {county owned school} knew us all by first name. MEGA schools make such control and getting to know students impossible. I'm not that old actually as this was in the mid 1970's. In this area they started MEGA schools especially Mega High Schools the discipline problems started. I worked briefly at one as a maintenance man. That was about 10 years after I left high school and a MEGA High School was built closing the smaller ones. It went down hill that fast.
Isn't the assistant prin usually in charge of discipline?
In my day, we feared him like crazy.
