Urban violences: 814 set fire to vehicles, 143 interpellations
PARIS - a total of 814 vehicles had been burnt and 143 interpellations had been recorded with 04H00 (03H00 GMT) in France at the time of the 12e consecutive night of urban violences, according to a provisional assessment of the general direction of the national police force, one indicated police source.
Four police officers were wounded against 34 the previous night per same hour, one specified of the same source.
No detail was given by the police force on the distribution of the burnt vehicles and the interpellations between the province and the Paris area.
At the time of the night of Sunday to Monday with 04H00, one had recorded 839 burnt vehicles and 186 interpellations, the final assessment, highest since the beginning of violences, rising with 1.408 vehicles burnt and 395 interpellations.
In Paris area, to the jet of a kingpin on the frontage from a hospital in the Vitry-on-Seine (is of Paris), the aggression of two Italian journalists of television and the fires of a college and a bus as a Seine-Saint-Denis (northern of Paris) were added later in the night the fire of a gymnasium in another commune of Seine-Saint-Denis.
In province, the police force raised the fires of a nursery school and an agency of employment in Bordeaux (south-western), nursery schools in Vaulx-in-Velin (the Rhone, center)), with the Harbour (north-western) and Brest (is). A bus was also burnt in Toulouse (south-western) after the rioters "had left without cares" the passengers there.
In Auxerre (center), 15 people were led to the hospital, victims of respiratory embarrassment, after the fire of a cellar having brought the evacuation of their building.
France comes to General Motor's rescue!
hilarious
"respiratory embarrassment"..???
lol..OMG..If the French can not even 'report' that they are CHOKING on the Islamist FUMES without embarrassment..ALL IS LOST IN FRANCE!!
143 interpellations
interpellations?
Where are they getting all of these cars? In can't be contained at all!
not near as much tonight....that's weird.
'Four police officers were wounded against 34 the previous night..'
All is secure. I envision Time Magazine's person of the year the rioting youth marching thru the arch 'de triumph.
And where are the environmentalist wackos?? Why aren't they clamoring for the French to send in the military to kill these car burners who are creating global warming and destroying the planet!!!????!! Killing Americans is one thing but warming the globe is a real crime.
Well, one thing is certain... if this goes on they will eventually run out of cars and buses to burn. Then the French will get mad. Maybe.
Europeans can stink but one time, I was on a train near a pair of mohammedans and they smelled worse than anyone I have ever smelt. I was nausiated by their smell.
Hey... the violence seems to have peaked! Or is it just a slow day after a Monday at the office?
ping for your ongoing count
You haven't experieced a bus ride in Detroit. The first thing you learn quickly is to keep your feet off the floor. The sloshing stool and urine are a real nasal opening.
Have you noticed the wildly varying tally of vehicles burned? Can they not count over there? They sure keep track of our KIAs well enough. Who cares about their little econoboxes anyway! One poster said that all those French cars would barely fill up a good-sized American dumpster. LOLOLOL!!
The last time I looked, Fiats were made in Italy. Peugots and Citroens are French.
The only thing that is less is the number of cops injured. The number of cars burned for the time of night is almost the same as for sunday night at the same time. There will be an update later on the number of cars for the whole night. Maybe the cops are keeping their heads down more. I do not think it has slowed down and do not think it will slow down for a while yet.
I thought it was funny - the Fiat web site says Fiat cars, for your disposal.
