NEW YORK - Who won the debate?
(Excerpt) Read more at news.yahoo.com ...
The viewing public lost.
The funny thing is liberals and the MSM are so delusional that they are now reduced to lionizing fictional characters. Also why is this news? It is a TV show for crying out loud.
No, but he doesn't look like quarterback material to me. My imagination just stretches so far. OTOH, my husband and two teenagers loved it.
Sorry, my bad.
I don't actually watch this drivel.. I merely skimmed the Yahoo article quickly.
We watched out of curiosity...noticed there was no mention of the left's principal cause, abortion. Maybe I missed it when I took the dog out for a leak.
The West Wingy is not permitted viewing in our home. It is considered obscene and vulgar.
The libs didn't like how the real debates went so they want to have actors reading cue cards containing what they wanted to hear? No thanks. Debates are tedious enough already and they think folks want more acrimony from last year's elections? No way. I'll stick to Jimmy Stewart and John Wayne movies...you know, real entertainment. ;D
Caught the end while clicking and saw thw NBC News bug on the bottom before I saw Smits and Alda. I guess NBC News has abandoned all pretense of reality.
My husband watched a few minutes of it. He was ranting about the small segment dealing with Medicare. Administrative costs for private insurance is 25 percent, for Medicare is 2 percent ergo everyone should be on Medicare. Also, jobs creation--the Democrat would create a million jobs per year. The Republican said he would not create any jobs, he would eliminate jobs--in the government sector. At this point he turned it off, saying it was an informercial for the Democrat party. Grey's Anatomy was great last night.
Sandler movies aren't about reality anyway. Remember Happy Gilmore?
Sandler movies are about the only good things still coming out of Hollywood, unless they make a Down Periscope 2.
Was it the liberal or the lefty?
Score What?
We started to watch "Category 7" last night on the "Corny Broadcast Network." We turned back to Sunday night football after about 15 minutes. It was absolutely the worst show ever. Bad writing, bad acting, the dialogue sounded as if 3rd graders put it together. It jumped around like 3rd rate adult feature, characters had no names or purpose. The final straw was poisonous frogs escaping at a political fund raiser and the ensuing references to the scriptures in Revelations.
I cannot imagine who would care. :-)
Not by a long shot.

That's the best description I've seen of the Eagles game yet. |
NBC must want to bury this show for good.
My fave story so far is of Robert Tessier who played the bald-headed "Connie Shockner, baddest cat in the joint. Even the guards are terrified of him." Seems Tessier hung out with some bikers as well. A cameraman's 1950's Harley was stolen. He got the serial number and made a few calls. Then came back and told the cameraman "either the bike will be in your driveway tomorrow, or a body will be on your front yard." The bike was returned the next morning. Tessier died in 1990.
